duolingo and y/n~~

what is this?

As y/n and duolingo go on the walk around this small town he starts thinking about all the days he couldnt sleep because he heard a voice then...it hits him it was y/n all those years when he felt the strongest it was all thanks to y/n no one else cared like them....he cant help but wonder if he knew y/n before he thought he did. y/n is the only reason duolingo is as strong as he is today. y/n looks over at him to see him deep in thought "hey duooooo! you ok?" duolingo snaps out of it "huh oh uh yea fine thanks" duolingo cant shake this feeling of guilt? or what was this feeling? he couldnt quite figure out what this was. "um duooooo? helllooo? you keep spacing out.." "can we sit down" duolingo says with a slight sadness. "oh of course!" as the two sit down y/n grabs his hand "whats wrong? duo you've been...off lately" "yea i just have been thinking of something...i know it sounds crazy but i think we have met before this." y/n looks at him wondering what he is saying "what do you mean?" duolingo looks back at y/n "well i just heard this voice everyday that made me stronger like...someone was there for me every night and every morning like clock work i heard a sweet voice calling out to me like they wanted to see me to talk to me and the more i heard it the better i felt. i felt....loved and when we talk its the same voice i hadnt heard in so long i used to hear so many. many many years ago but after some time it all went silent. except one it was you wasnt it your the voice i was hearing everyone else gave up on me not you though. you stayed loyal in me and if you hadnt i wouldnt be here my powers would have left sooner and i would fade away....but thanks to you im still here i owe you everything.." y/n has tears in their eyes "wow i-i dont know what to say but i should thank you. my life was nothing till i read that first book on you you gave my life meaning i have nothing else duo no family nothing but i never gave up on you. you just made it so easy to like you and keep looking and im glad i found you. your my god and my favorite person" y/n siad with a warm smile on their face. duolingo hugs y/n tightly "thank you y/n.." y/n and duolingo stay like that for a little bit longer. "come on duo lets go eat something im hungry" duo lets go of y/n "oh ok" the two get up and walk to a food truck "OOOOOOO CORNDOGS!!!" y/n says with a huge grin on their face "do you want some corn dogs?" duolingo says with a chuckle "yes!!!! yes!!" "alright lets get some then" duolingo walks up to the stand and gets them 4 corn dogs 2 for each of them "thank you!" y/n says before stuffing their face with food. duolingo giggles "is it yummy?" "mmmh!" y/n cant speak from all the food duolingo starts eating "woah this is pretty good!" the two finish the food and think its time to head back. on the way back duolingo sees someone...someone he knows! "hey! lilly is that you?!?!" as the person turns around he now sees their face "holy moly...it is you! how did you get here!" lilly looks at duolingo "huh..oh i uh i have no clue im here i guess" lilly says in a monotoned voice. y/n looks at duolingo "who is that?...?" duolingo looks at y/n "oh she is my friend her name is lilly." well then a new person! what will come next in these days duolingo spends with y/n! i guess we will see!
