A/N: Just thought I'd say this right off the bat, because I have gotten many questions on the title irl. The Poisoned Waters was based on these things; Water is Slytherin's house element. It has been centuries since any muggle-born has entered the house of serpents, so it's like poisoning the calmness of the water. Hera being the poison, Slytherin being the water, the muggle born mixed with the pure.
