"Clary !" Clay ran towards his sister's room , seeing the girl holding her teddy against her chest as she didn't want to go to school .

"I guess you're on sheri's." She mumbled quietly and Clay frowned. Sitting on the other side of the bed. Making her tense up for a moment.

"I'm sorry for not believing you." Clay told her and she sniffled. "It's fine."

"No." He spoke. "I learnt a lot for the past week and ...I was angry."

It was silent for a while. "It's okay." She assured him and he stared at her. "What happened ?" He asks the girl .

She didn't say anything for a moment. "I-" she couldn't say anything. "Did Monty hurt you ?" Clay asks angrily and she shook her head. "No."

"Then who ?" He asks with slight worry in his tone. She was quiet for a moment. "It was - Walker." His last name angered him. Just hearing his name made his blood boil.

"It was Bryce Walker."

"Yo , Jeff !" Monty called out as he saw the Atkins boy . "You going for a beer run ?" He asks as he held onto his girlfriend .

"Yeah , you taking care of my girl ?" He asks and Monty smirked . Pulling her close to him as she drunk cola out of her red cup.

She didn't like to drink alcohol, it makes her do stupid things and it tastes disgusting.

And the first and last stupid thing she done ? Was the time she hooked up with Montgomery who took her virginity the first time they encountered.

Which leaded to them just being a fling at first but it soon turned into a relationship.

"What's wrong with you ?" Clary asks Justin who was sat quietly .

Justin shrugged. "Nah , nothing - Just." He paused . "Nothing at all."

She looks at Justin sceptically and nodded , knowing he'd tell her when he's comfortable.

She soon got a call from Clay and her brows furrowed placing it against her ear and placed her hand over her other ear to block out the music. "Hello ?" She asks.

"Clar , it's - it's Jeff !" His voice was panicked and distressed.

"What about Jeff ?" She asks as she walked away from Justin Foley . "H-he's gone !" Hearing Clay say that , made her heart drop.

"Gone ?"

"He's gone Clar , Jeff is dead !"
