Once in Augsburg, lived an ugly 35-year-old man. He was six-feet tall and had a long jaw with pointed short beard, his face always held a frown. Dark circles below his eyes and his eyes always tired, his thin hand always held an umbrella. His back was never straight, bent, almost like a camel. He used to work in a restraint. A women accused him of eyeing her, which ofc wasn't true. But him being the naïve he is, didn't even defend himself. Neither he had anyone to do it for him. He was lonely, like a dull color in a rainbow. After that he got a warning, but another day, a little child started to cry, saying he looked like the monster he saw in the movie he saw last night. He was just serving him some noodles. Next time, a man started screaming at him for taking too long to bring his order. But he was just a waiter, the chef was making the food while talking on the phone. But then again, he said nothing in his defense, neither the chef accepted his mistake. Sure, he was drowning by guilt but the job was too important to him. He was fired that night. He saw his manager cut his name from the employee list. Huso. He walked out of the restraint. It was raining like always, but he didn't bother to open his umbrella. He was sad, he was always sad. People misunderstood him for being emotionless as his face was always the same. But he wasn't. He was sad. But today's 'sad' was different. He wasn't sad about his father drowning himself in front of him when he was 9 or his mother blaming him for it and hating on him till her death day or his older brother cutting all contacts with him after their mother's death. He was sad because he was short on cash and he didn't know where he would live the next week. He looked at a couple passing by eating ice cream under one umbrella walking happily. He then saw a mother holding a little boy's finger and listening to him. Then it hit him, the truck. He was too busy in seeing the couple and the kid he didn't notice the truck coming. The truck driver took him to the hospital. He was in coma for 2 days. 3rd day, his heart stopped beating, he died. Nobody visited him in this while. Nobody even noticed him gone. He was buried by some hospital men in a graveyard. But he was happy, the last thing he saw was that couple, he was his mom dad in them in another universe. He saw that mother and
boy, he saw himself and his mother in them in another universe.
