It was just a normal evening, 18 year old Amaira was studying in a cafe with her friends. As she was making some notes, she looked at her phone and checked the time, it was 8 o'clock.
"I'll go home now guys." Amaira said.
"Okay, let's all go home then, it's pretty late already." one of Amaira's friend says.
They all walk out of the cafe after taking their stuff and paying for the coffee.
They reached Amaira's House.
"I'll guess I'll get going now guys, bye!!." Amaira said to her friends.
"Okayy bye Amaira!!"
Amaira rung the doorbell, a servant came and opened the door for her. As she got inside, Amaira saw her Dad, Mom and Her Elder Brother, Dev, having a conversation.
"Is it that important?." Amaira's mom questioned.
"Yeah, it's important, we will HAVE to move to New York."
"But why, dad. I don't wanna leave India and go to New York or whatever." Dev said, with a stressed look on his face.
Amaira, who was standing there, listening to their conversation, was shocked after hearing the news. Tears dropped from her eyes. She didn't wanna leave her friends, her school, and most importantly, her first love Avyaan, whom she couldn't tell anyone about, she was afraid that her parents would maybe change her school or whatever they possibly could, but now on the other hand, she has to move to another country. She didn't want to leave India and go to The US. Amaira cried and ran upstairs towards her room.
Now, on the other hand, everyone in the living room looked to the direction where the voice came from, and they saw Amaira, with tears in her eyes after listening to the news. They all ran to her but they were already late, Amaira had already locked herself inside.
"Amaira, open the door." her dad said.
Amaira didn't say anything.
"Amaira, please open the door, pleasee." her mom said. Well, there's no way Amaira would respond. Why? Cause she already fell asleep while crying.
The three outside, with a tensed look on their faces thought of leaving Amaira alone for now and went back to their rooms.
NEXT DAY
"Amaira! Are you up?" Dev said from outside of Amaira's room.
Amaira who was almost ready for school said "Yeah coming bro, wait a sec."
"Be quick sis." and he went to the dining area to have his breakfast.
Amaira opened the door and looked around to see no trace of her brother.
"He's probably at the dining table i guess." she thought and went to have her breakfast.
At College
Amaira went inside and saw that all her friends were already in the classroom.
"Hiii guyss." she said, making her way towards them.
"Heyyy girl." Amaira's bestie, Tanishka said.
"Um so I've got to tell you all something..."
"What???" her friends said, altogether.
"Uh.. so I've gotta leave India and move to New York." she said in one breath.
"What? Why??." her friends questioned.
"WHAT?" a loud voice interrupted their conversation. All of them turned around to see where the voice came from. They saw a shocked Avyaan with a tensed look on his face.
"Amaira, is that true?" Avyaan asked her.
"Yeah it is true, Avyaan."
"But why???" He said.
"It's because of dad's business or something, but I really don't wanna leave you all" Amaira said in a stressed tone.
"How will I live without you, Amaira?." Avyaan said, with tears in his eyes.
