He furrowed his eyebrows at the realization. He thinks back to the first days of his intimate encounter with her. When he struggled to hold back his desires due to his still love for his husband.

Once his resistance was broken and he had given into the lust he was feeling. He remembers watching her act the exact same way the next morning. She had a haunting smile upon her face. As if she was privy to a secret that no one else knew.

And it hits him hard when he comes to the conclusion that she was really proud of herself. For accomplishing something that she set out to achieve. And in his case, she managed to make him stray from his husband. Who most considered the most handsome man alive and who could turn heads everywhere he went. Whose kind and gentle spirit earned him the respect of so many who crossed his path.

The snap of her compact case brought him out of his thoughts.

"Is there any particular reason why you went out of your way to look good this morning?"

"What? What are you trying to say?" She asks surprised.

"I'm just wondering why you are getting extra dolled up today. You rarely wear this much makeup around me anymore. Why now?"

She scoffs and says, "You are crazy. I am wearing the same amount as always. What's gotten into you?"

He stands and steps in front of her with narrowed eyes and says, "I was just remembering how you were gawking at Jin's boyfriend. You used to look at me the same way."

"Psh! You are imagining things. Why would I do that when I have the sexiest man in the world at my side?" She wraps her arms around his neck and kisses him.

He moves his head back and tells her, "I'm telling you right now. I'm not the gullible fool you may think I am. If I find out that you're interested in Jin's new lover then I'm walking. Not that you stand a chance in getting him. He's been in love with Jin since birth." He chuckles when he sees her reaction. As if she sees it as a challenge.

"Well lucky for you that I have zero interest in him or anyone else. But, if I did.. I'd have no trouble getting him."

Jungkook shook his head and said, "You really think you have a shot at him? Did you see how he looks at Jin?"

She throws her head back with a big laugh. "Please! If I really wanted him, I wouldn't even need to try. I got you away from Jin, didn't I? And without much persuasion I might add. Now let's not talk about them anymore before we end up in a big fight."

"Ok, but just so you know. Not all men are the same. I was never good enough for Jin. I knew well enough that I was extremely lucky to land him. And I was weak.. but Jin's new guy.. there's not many of his type around. He won't ever fall for your trap the way I did. But I'm not the least bit worried that you could accomplish it. Cause I know for a fact that he would never betray Jin the way I did. I am so sure of that fact that I'm willing to place money on it." Now it was him who laughed loudly.

With that, he turned to walk away. She stood fuming and thought he was challenging her. She had to take deep breaths to calm herself down. Before she followed him out.
