Prologue

Jiwon's POV

"I can't talk sense into you.. I.. don't want this anymore."

My heart shattered as I heard the words that came out of his mouth, it feels dejavu as I heard him say this but it was for our drama.

"You don't want what?"

Not fully understanding what he meant, or I know but I chose not to.

He suddenly removes the ring that I gave him when we promised that we will be with each other in this lifetime.

"I.. just don't want us anymore."

Just not wanting us, he means me anymore? He's giving me the ring but I push it away making the ring bounce and roll off the road.

I got scared we might lose the ring so I ran off to find it but I was late, it landed to the pond area and it will be hard for me to find it. But I don't care because that ring symbolizes the love we have for each other.

Soohyun ran to me and stop me from walking further.

"Jiwon, stop! Why are you like this? Why would yo-"

I stopped and slapped him on his chest.

"Why am I like this? Why am I like this?! Are you for real asking why?! You're saying you don't want me and you're asking why am I like this?"

I shouted as I cannot control the hatred flowing through my veins. He was shocked to see me shouting because this is the first time I raised my voice at him.

He held my elbow attempting to calm me down, but too late cause I lose all my strength to stand.

I fell down, both knees on the ground, half body wet, tired, exhausted and hurt.

Should I just surrender? Is it worth the fight? Am I worthy of him?

"I give up.."

The last thing I said before passing out hoping that this was just a bad dream.
