Chapter 2

Lucas Pov-

I woke up and looked for my phone to see it was 9:00 a.m. So, I got up took a shower and got dressed. I walked into the living room to see my mom on the phone talking. Than she stopped and turned towards me and spoke.

Lm-lucas sit down baby i gotta talk to you

I sat down than turned towards her direction so i could listen.

Lm-so i have decided that i am going to be moving

Lucas-where we going to i seen some nice houses the other day on *****street

Lm-no baby we're moving away from Detroit so i can better my life and so (gcof)

Lucas-what do you mean ?
no so you can't just run away from your problems like always no I'm not leaving Zaniyah i can't help that you decided to open up your legs for your best friends man but not about to suffer with you and lose my close friend

Lm-*slaps lucas*don't ever talk to me like that agian and your coming with me whether you like it or not boy

After that i just grabbed my phone and keys and walked out the door as she screamed for me to get back in the house. I ignored her hoped in my truck and drove to Zaniyah's house. After about a couple minutes i pulled up to her house and knocked on the door. Her mom answered the door.

Zm-hey baby you here to see zaniyah

Lucas-yea if you don't mind and im very sorry *hugs zaniyah mom*

Zm-im good and it's not your fault and
zaniyah is up in her room

I nodded my head and headed up to her room. I knocked and i heard her say come in. I walked in and sat on her bed and layed back.

Zaniyah-boy if you don't get up off my bed getting comfortable

I smiled at her reaction and sat up and turned to her and smiled.

Zaniyah-what's funny

Lucas-nothing i just i miss you

Zaniyah-hmmm whatever

Lucas-girl stop playing with me you know I'm telling the truth

She looked at me weirdly so i walked over to her and bent down to her cause she sat still sitting on her bed.

Zaniyah-what are you doing

Lucas-teaching you a lesson

Zaniyah-no..(gcof)

I started to tickle her as she wiggled and kept telling me to stop.

Zaniyah-stop please I'm sorry I miss you too

I smiled at her and stopped. I than was still hovering over her. She looked at me and than our eyes connected and we kissed. She than pulled away.

Zaniyah-Lucas what are we

Lucas-what do you mean

Zaniyah-you know what i mean

Lucas-well i thought we were friends but it seems like more than that so if you would like to you can be  mine

Zaniyah-I'd like that very much

I looked at her and than got off of her and walked back to the end of the bed. She looked at me confused.

Zaniyah-uhmm im sorry we can still be friends if you don't want to be a couple

Lucas-naw i want you to be mine but i have to  tell  you some

Zaniyah-what's wrong

Lucas-my moms making us move out of Detroit
She looked at me than turned her head.

Lucas-ma im sorry

She didn't speak. I pulled her towards me and turned her face around to see tears coming down her face. As i held her in my arms she started crying even more.

Lucas-ma it's going to be alright we can be a long distance relationship and i can always come back to visit you

Zaniyah-but lucas i don't want you to leave me

Lucas-i don't want to leave you ma

She lifted her head from my chest and spoke.

Zaniyah-lucas

Lucas-huh

Zaniyah-promise me you won't forget me

Lucas-i promise ma I'd never froget you

Zaniyah-I'm going to miss you

Lucas-me too ma but I'll see you again I'm going to visit you and call you everyday

Zaniyah-ok

She leaned up and kissed me as i kissed back. We than broke the kiss as i rubbed my fingers through her hair.

Zaniyah-lucas

Lucas-huh

Zaniyah-i love you

Lucas-i love you too ma don't ever forget that

She nodded and my phone ringed so she lifted up so i could get it out my pocket. I answered my phone without lookn.

Lucas-hello

??-you need to come home now were leaving today

Lucas-no what we can't leave today

Lm-yes you are now come home

I hung up the phone as Zaniyah looked at me with tearful eyes. I stood up and hugged her real tight and kissed for what seemed like forever. The kiss was full of passion. We than pulled away as i spoke.

Lucas-i love you zaniyah and I'm going to call you ok

Zaniyah-i love you too and be safe

I walked out of her house and into my car on my way to my house.
