Eren had a rough life, flat out.

He lived in a small apartment above Emerald Gardens, a restaurant owned by his  sister and best friend, Mikasa and Armin Arlert. The spaces was rented, of course, and he always paid full rent to his sister and brother in-law, but that rent was his whole paycheck over two weeks.  So, with the 300 he had left for the rest of the month, half went to his bills, and the last 150 was for his necessities, so, food, clothes, and other things. Life sucked, being so tight on money. So it didn't help that his job meant selling himself to others.

Don't get him wrong, though- Eren loved his job. It was something he was actually good at, but overall, it sucked sometimes. Some people would treat him like shit, dirt under their feet- Others would think he was cheap, and would pay him only half of what the actual pay was, and then ditch him.  Now, Eren's job was at TRoST, one of the most popular clubs in the city of Shiganshina. The best feature (which attracted many people), was the ICE. The ICE, or, In Club Entertainers, were the sugar on top.Paid to spend the entire night dancing away in the club until someone took interest in them, they were also paid to have sex with the customers. Usual rates were 100 dollars overall, but Eren always got ripped off, as did others. Half the time they would get left in one of the back rooms, with sometimes only 20 bucks. And even then, half of the money would always go back to the club manager.

So yes, Eren's life was okay-ish, compared to others, but to him, it was awful. He worked from 8 at night to 4 in the morning every night all week, and still had awful pay. He also rarely had time to do anything he wanted to- It was always work, and, speaking of which, it was 7... time for work.

Eren quickly ate, got cleaned up, and got into his uniform. White tight pants with straps from the waist down, Eren was also required to wear a white tank top, ICE written on the back in black bolded letters. Eren could remember when he asked his boss about the white clothes, compared to the other worker's black clothes. To that, his boss responded with ' It gives a sense of purity'. It made no sense to Eren, but it didn't matter. Grabbing a red lollipop from a the pile spread out on his counter, Eren walked to work on the busiest night of the week.
