"Good morning Genny! How is my schedule looking today?" Genevieve hears her boss's voice above her.

Genevieve lifts her head from the book she was reading and sees a smiling Alexander Lopez.

Alexander Lopez is a thirty-six-year-old crime, contract, and corporate lawyer. He has brown eyes, and honey-toned skin, and is six feet tall. He is happily married to his husband Dom Russo-Lopez. They have been married for two years, but have been together for a total of 8 years. Alexander is the oldest of five siblings and the second of five with no kids yet.

"Good morning, Boss!" Genevieve said with a grin on her face.

"Genny, what did I say about calling me that?" Alexander said with his right eyebrow lifted.

Genevieve lets out a low laugh.

"Oh come on, Xander you know I just say that to mess with you."

Alexander rolls his eyes and then points to her computer indicating for her to start looking for his schedule. Genevieve nods her head and logs into her newly upgraded desktop Apple computer. She was still not quite used to the upgrade that the law firm had recently installed to the entire building. She was more used to the HP desktop computer that they previously had.

After six minutes, of logging in to the computer and opening up the app that holds this week's schedule, Genevieve finally started reading out today's schedule.

"Okay, here we are. Today is not so busy since there have been quite a few cancellations. Your first meeting isn't until 9:30 in the morning, which is very good. This meeting is with Mr. John Fox and shouldn't last more than ten to fifteen minutes." Genevieve said stopping and looking up quickly to see if her boss was still listening.

Genevieve was going to continue, but she noticed Alexander nodding his head then turning and walking away from her desk. She quickly transfers the schedule to her new iPad, jumps to her feet, and speed walks to catch up to him.

With a big huff and eye roll, Genevieve starts reading the schedule again.

"At 11:30 am, you have a meeting with Mr. Frank Weever. He wants to go over a new contract that he was given from a new company that is interested in signing with him. At 12:55 in the afternoon, you have a lunch date with your husband and with his and your families. Don't worry I will remind you about it later, especially with the threat that Dom gave out." Genevieve said with a chuckle.

Without stopping his footsteps he flips the bird over his shoulder. Genevieve ignored him and kept following behind her boss.

They finally stopped walking and arrived at his office. Alexander opens the door and gestures for Genevieve to enter first. He follows behind her once she enters and walks straight behind his desk setting his briefcase down on his desk. Genevieve gets settled on one of the guest chairs set in front of his desk.

"How are threats from my husband funny to you?" Alexander asked sitting down on his chair.

"Because no one ever tries to talk to you like that besides me and Dom. It's nice to see and hear it." Genevieve said.

With a shrug Genevieve leans back on the chair and crosses one leg over her knee, letting the iPad lay on her lap.

"That's because I consider you part of my family and well Dom is my husband, so I can't really do much about that. Plus I love that man so much that I would let him literally stab me if he wanted to because I missed something important to him. I live to please him." Alexander said with a smirk and sent a wink to her.

Genevieve blushes at his meaning.

"He deserves the world and the thought of disappointing him just makes me want to rip my own heart out. I do get worried that work might get in the way of doing whatever he wants me to do. It has happened before and god I feel like shit even when he said it's all okay. Anyways back to the schedule please." Alexander confesses and then tries to change the subject.
