it had been two days since Eugene was attacked by the monster, and Wednesday was mostly keeping to herself. for the first time, she feels guilty for what happened to someone. and it didn't help that she blamed herself for what happened to Eugene. That was something new for Wednesday and she didn't like how it felt.
Wednesday also felt guilty for going to the dance with Tyler for two reasons one of them was she should have been with Eugene instead of a dance she didn't even want to go to. and the second reason was she wished it was Faith who she went to the dance with. making Wednesday avoid the girl.
Enid had been there trying to help Wednesday with what she was feeling. but it wasn't working and she had no idea of how to help someone through this. one of the main reasons is that she has no idea what Wednesday is going through. and what she is thinking about.
and with also feeling bad for what happened to Eugene just not on the same level as Wednesday is.
faith went back to her old self because of what happened and the remembering of what happened to her parent coming back to her. So Faith just didn't talk to anyone and was colder if someone tried to talk to her. She was quick to angry with everything coming her way. so people just avoid her more than they already did.
on the outside people didn't understand why Eugene getting hurt set off faith. they didn't seem close to one another. They didn't understand seeing an ambulance and someone going in it made her feel like the five-year-old self who couldn't save her parent.
the three of them trying to work through this in their own ways. with Enid trying to help Wednesday and getting nowhere with that. so she starts to think she may need some help with that. but Enid also thinks the only person Wednesday would be okay with trying to get through to her is Faith.

enid walked over to where Faith's room before knocking on the door and waiting to see if she heard Faith come to the door. enid waited for two minutes before knocking on the door again. She did this a few times getting no answer from Faith.
"what do you want" Faith snapped from behind Enid. making Enid jump not thinking faith would come in behind her.
" I wanted to see how you are doing," Enid says a little taking back at the tone in Faith's voice because she thought they were on good terms. and maybe starting to become friends with each other.
" I would say that I'm doing adequate" Faith says keeping the same tone of voice from the start of the conversations. "what do you want Enid," Faith questioned Enid.
"to ask for some help with Wednesday. She has taken what happened to Eugene badly and I try to help but everything I have tried hasn't worked. and I need help trying to help Wednesday," Enid explained what she wanted from Faith while also sounding unsure about the way Faith is acting right now.
"Why would I want to help? what makes you think I care," Faith shot back
" come on I know you care about Wednesday,"
"that is where you're wrong little wolf, I care for nothing," Faith said in a low tone of voice but the words still held the anger in them.
"and this is why people you are the hated monster of the school," Enid sapped a little.
"I don't mind being hated. but I hate being misunderstood," Faith stated before pushing her way past Enid and into her room and closing her door before Enid could say another thing to her.

Enid walked back to her dorm room after talking to Faith. her mind kept going back to the conversation with Faith just feeling like something was off with her. sure Faith was known for her anger but she didn't show it like that. and Faith always had a reason why she got angry. maybe something happened before she talked to her Enid through to herself.
enid walked back into the dorm room Wednesday sitting at her typewriter and writing something for her book.
it has been the main thing Wednesday has been doing over the past couple of days. trying to take away what she is feeling with what happened. Of course that is not how emotions work.
enid walked over to her bed and sat down there facing Wednesday's back. thinking of the best way to try and talk to Wednesday about what happened with faith.
"hey Wednesday can we talk for a second," Enid asked
"Enid I am busy right now" Wednesday declared to Enid not feeling like having another one of those talks right now.
"it's about faith," Enid told Wednesday making her freeze from her writing not assuming what Enid wanted to talk about. and Wednesday not knowing what Enid wanted to say about faith.
Wednesday turns around to face Enid. to show Enid that she is listening to what she is saying now.
"what about her" Wednesday questioned Enid
" so well I leave the room i when to go talk to her to try and get her to help me with dealing with you. but she sheen off." Enid explained to Wednesday without giving her any information on what happened in their talk.
" off, how?" Wednesday's question enid wanting to get more information from her.
"colder and angry than any other I have talked to her," Enid said to Wednesday then waited to see how Wednesday responded to what she just said.
"maybe she just needs some time alone. However I will go and talk to her later tonight," Wednesday replied to Enid but had a curious tone for Wednesday.
Wednesday turned back around to continue her writing for that day.

faith was in her room getting ready to go out and run for the night and spent the night outside like she did last night. it is the main way Faith goes to help herself is by running in her wolf form. the only thing that will be different is that the class will be back on. having the first day of the week off with what happened with Eugene.
faith left her room just before it started to get dark faith grabbed her bag and started to walk out of her room to head to the woods.

Wednesday just finished with her writing for the day. Wednesday sat up from her hair and walked out of her dorm room leaving Enid behind wondering what she was going to be doing at this time of night.
Wednesday walked over to Faith's dorm room before knocking on her room door. and waiting for faith to come to the door. after waiting a while for Faith to come to the door. Wednesday decided to see if the door was unlocked.
to Wednesday's surprise, the door was unlocked and Wednesday opened the door. Wednesday when to walked into the room only walked into something in front of her not taking her to walk into the room.
Wednesday stepped back from the door and moved her hand to try and put it through the door only for it to be stopped in the doorway. Wednesday once again tried to walk into the room only for her to be stopped again.
seeing no way in Wednesday walked off to go back to her room. after returning to her room Wednesday walked into the room only to be questioned by Enid on where she went.
