Chapter one: Betrayal

''I hate you! I hate you all!'' Tara screamed, her emotions kept spiraling out of control, boulders were falling from the sky as she lifted the H.I.V.E apartment complex with her powers, struggling not to completely let go, she wouldn't be able to lift it for much longer, her face became red as she tried to drop the complex onto the titans, if this went wrong she would be dead for sure.

Gar saw what was happening and despite everything she had done to him he couldn't just let her die, she finally let go of the apartment complex, it all came crashing down..

''Terra!'' He yelled, running after her and swooping her up into his arms before it was all too late, he knew that he didn't want this to be the end of it all, Terra looked up at him, realizing that he had just saved her life, what a fool, why didn't he just let her die? Surely she would've done that to him, for the first time she gazed upon him and didn't feel hate.. In fact she didn't know what she felt as he ran with her in his arms.. Did she love him?

She couldn't possibly love him, he was just some green pervert, right? She thought to herself, trying to completely process these feelings, she didn't want to care about him.. But she did.

As he finally placed her onto the ground she looked around, still feeling the same sense of hate towards everyone else, this clearly wouldn't change who she was as a person, even if she secretly had some feelings for him.

"Why did you save me?!" She yelled as she pushed him away, she hated having to rely on someone else. She always liked being alone and she hated that he could see through her, she always put up a strong front. She didn't want people seeing her true emotions, but Beast boy could see right through them. They made eye contact and she looked away, her feelings for him were getting stronger but she didn't want them to be, she wanted to be alone, "Leave." She said this harshly, her eyes were still full of surprise as she paused for a moment.* ''You're.. different than the others.''

Despite what she had just said to him Beast boy never felt more drawn to her than now.. Terra started to smile when she realized he could see that she was starting to feel something for him, and she hated it. All she wanted to do was be alone, to push everyone away, but there was something different about him. For the first time she didn't want to be alone, she wanted him. She walked closer to him and took his hand. She had this urge to lean in for a kiss but she was nervous because she didn't want him to reject her. She stood there for a moment and looked up at him.. she still felt hate for everyone and everything else.. except him. ''You could've just left me there.. to die but you.. saved me.''

As he stared into her face, her beautiful face.. His face started to turn red, his stomach was hurting and he was even starting to sweat. ''Damn.. I'm going to kiss her aren't I?'' He thought to himself before taking a quick breath..

"I could've.. but if I did would I've still seen your beautiful eyes? Your perfect smile? I could just eat you up like an animal you know!" He joked, trying to play it off, but his feelings were undeniable.

She laughed as she grabbed him and pulled him in close to her and she kissed him for the first time, her lips were warm. Her hand brushed up against his face as she smiled at him, his eyes were like a dream come true.

"Shut up."  She whispered in between breaths, then she pulled him even closer to her and kissed him again as she smirked at him, despite liking him now she still hated everyone else and wouldn't stop being a villain.. She would never truly change for him.

He was in love. Completely head over heels for Terra. He laughed at her comment as she pulled him in close, her lips were so soft and her hand on his face was so sweet. His heart was racing and his head was dizzy, but he liked it, he couldn't stop himself from kissing her back over and over again as they pulled away from each other.

"That's the first time you've smiled since you came to the Titans, you like me, don't you?"

Terra couldn't lie to him, she stared at him as there was some happiness in her eyes finally.

"You're an idiot." She smirked at him again as their eyes locked once more, she really did like him and that was obvious, she wasn't the type of person who would like anyone else. He was special, so she decided to tell him the thing she feared.

"I hate everyone... but you."
