-Don's POV-

It's Mom! What should we do!?

Which is it!? Did she notice, and come back? Or has she not noticed at all... and just came back to do something else?

—--------------------

-Gilda's POV-

Calm down, what would Emma and them do? Emma and them...

"Do you think what they told us is the truth?"

"If you think Emma is lying to you, come back to me."

Is it really a lie that they're alive? Are they really...

No! Emma would never tell such a cruel lie!

"We should get out of here!" Don said, holding my hand for reassurance.

I nodded, "Yeah!" I said.

Maybe Mom hasn't noticed anything yet. Quietly, swiftly so she won't see us.

We crawled up the ladder and slowly tried to leave. "Let's go!" Don whispered so Mom wouldn't hear.

-Lily's POV-

We walked down the stairs, "But I'm surprised." Norman told Emma. "It's to be expected from Ray or Lily, who read books all the time."

"But Emma, for you to notice those book-plates too..." Ray said.

She turned around, confused, "Huh?" She said, which made me raise an eyebrow at her. "I didn't! I wasn't the one who noticed them."

"What?" I asked her, laughing out of confusion.

She laughed, "Phil found them and told me!" She told us.

I looked at the two males, and they returned the look. "Phil?" Norman asked.

Emma nodded, "Yup!" She said, popping the 'P'. "A children's book he was reading was Mr. Minerva's. And it was a book that had morse code in the story. So I just looked at all the other books too." She told us.

I was pretty impressed. "It all makes sense now." Ray said, putting his arm around me.

Emma's face turned to one of frustration. "What's that supposed to mean!?" She asked him, getting defensive.

We walked into the hall, and we didn't see Don and Gilda. "Where are Don and Gilda?" I asked. "Considering they left to 'prepare for dinner', they sure don't seem like they are."

Norman looked in the pantry. "They're not here either!" He said.

I cussed in my head mentally. They're in the freaking secret room.
