I remember the first time we ever went out together.

We went to a little local cafe at the end of my street, it was a puppy cafe. You insisted we go there, you loved puppies, to be expected from someone that looks like one.

I got a Vanilla Latte and a piece of lemon bread, you got water, that's when it started.

When everything went downhill.

When everything I worked so hard to build fell apart like nothing, like some ant pile a little kid stomped on.

You played with the puppies till sunset.

After you left you said next time you'd steal one of the puppies, you said there was this white one, this beautiful white and black puppy that you had your eyes on, you said you would come back for him,

why'd you leave him waiting?
