CH 2. Lucky for me

Y/N'S POV

"Cant get rid of me that easy" he smiles at me before we walk into the school together. Another year of torture. Atleast I have Jay.

We walk towards our lockers which are coincidentally right next to each other. I spot Cyn and Niki down the hall talking infront of her locker. They're so in love. I wish I had something like that.

Jay watches as I look over at our friends, he clears his throat before speaking. "So what class have you got?" he asks with that perfect smile of his. "Math" I grumble, "Cmon math isnt that bad" He chuckles in response.

"Math is the equivalent of hell" I say with a sarcastic smile. "Hey atleast you got me! your best most smart amazing best friend ever" he lists off his qualities smugly but my attention drifts to behind him where Felix is walking through the entrance along with his close friends Hwang Hyunjin the art prodigy and Han Jisung the schools 'savage' as people call him.

I sigh looking at felix, he would never notice someone like me. Im unknown. Im nobody. "Youre not nobody" I turn to Jay to see him looking at me with sad eyes. "fuck did i say that out loud?" I stress, i did not need Jay hearing me say that. He's so kind it hurts when he's upset because of me.

"Y/N look at me, you are the most amazing smart beautiful kind girl I know. Dont you dare put yourself down like that" He says his hands on my shoulders in a comforting way. "Yeah I- thank you Jay but im okay really" I plead to him, I dont need him worrying about me.

"If you say so, but you can always talk to m-" he gets cut off by the school bell. Cynthia runs up to me linking our arms. "well time for math" she says with a roll of her eyes before dragging me to math with her, Jay and Niki following close behind.

As we reach our math class I find a seat near a window, I head straight for that seat, Jay sitting behind me.
All of a sudden I turn to the seat next to me expecting to see Cynthia or Niki but instead my eyes fall upon THE Lee Felix. "Morning" he says to me with a slight smile. Oh my god. Felix just spoke to me. I could feel Jay watching this entire interaction. "Good morning" I say back with a smile.

We both turn our attention to the front as the teacher begins to talk. Throughout the lesson I am zoned out until i hear the teacher call my name. "Y/N can you answer number 5 please?" the teacher asks. I panicked, i had been zoned out this whole class i had no idea what was going on.

I feel someone lean on the back of my seat i feel a hot breath next my ear. "it's 127" Jay whispers slowly to me as if hes dragging the words to be longer. A blush appears across my face as I tell the teacher the answers. It was correct.

I turn behind me to see Jay with a proud smirk on his face but I cant tell if its from successfully making me blush of getting the answer correct. The rest of the class goes by quickly, I stand up going to pick up my bag but two other pairs of hands go the grab my bad. I look up to see both felix and Jay reaching for my school bag.

"I was handing it to her." They say while looking at each other intensely.
I look back and forth at the two boys holding onto my bag. "Well i'm just gonna grab that! thank you I appreciate the offer but we should probably get to art class." I say awkwardly as I grab my bag from the both of them.

"Yeah lets get going" Jay says stoically as he puts his hand on my lower back guiding me out of the class. Yet again i feel my face getting hot. "Oh theres Cynthia and Niki let's catch up" He speaks calmly as he begins to walk towards them.

Next thing you know I feel a presence beside me "see you in art" I hear Felix say beside me, I turn and see him wink at me before he walks off with Hyunjin.

What the fuck just happend.
