Infinite was stood in a bar, he'd been drinking all night, struggling a lot lately with his own personal issues ever since the war ended. He wore a dull worn green coat done up to cover the ruby embedded on his chest, and to keep himself warm... aswell as a loose pair of pants, though he was easily recognised with that iconic mask.

He simply wanted to drink away the problem, as much as the ruby rejected the alcohol, he managed to get himself drunk enough to the point he was leaned against a nearby wall, secluded, a bottle in hand and claws against his mask, an irritable ringing as the noise of the bar got the best of him.

An ebony hedgehog spotted him from across the bar, debating an approach, he walked over and leaned against the wall next to him.

" Resorted to alcoholism, have you? "

A cock of his head, a smirk at the jackal. Infinite returned his question with a frustrated growl,

" ...and you have the audacity to bother me about my decision? Hohoho... you're so LUCKY I don't have the patience to kill you right here and now... "

Infinite lifted his mask a slight to reveal his muzzle, sipping from the bottle in his hand.
Shadow followed the jackals movement with his eyes, this was such a great opportunity to simply end this criminals life... where he is vulnerable.

" ... the hell do you want, anyway? "

Grumbled the jackal, a snarl visible on his muzzle.

The hedgehog crossed his arms, returning the snarl.

" I don't want anything from you, mutt, I was simply asking a question. "

The jackal let a growl emerge from his throat,

" It doesn't matter to you what I am doing with my life. So I'd shut your trap if I were you... "

The hedgehog let out a chuckle, tilting his head to the side,

" You're right... it doesn't. "

He'd reach out his hand and snatch the bottle from his grasp, lifting his mask from his face, dropping it down the floor with a CLANK—! a rumbling sound emitted from the jackals throat as he let it happen,

" But I love pissing you off... "

The jackal let out a chuckle, hysteric, leaning his head up against the wall, oh how the hedgehog couldn't deny how.. oddly attracting the jackal looked. It was surely just because he wasn't wearing his mask any longer...

" Oh, of / course / you do. You'll do anything to make me more miserable, won't you? Pathetic... "

The hedgehog would roll his eyes at the jackals words,

" I'd say you're much more pathetic... coming here to drink your mind away because you know just how bad that little stone is affecting you. "

He reached out to tap the gem on his chest, before the jackal grasped his wrist into a halt.

" Are you just / trying / to taunt me ? "

He'd grumble, a drunken gaze as his heterochromic eyes layed onto the hedgehogs features, a slightly hunched posture.

The hedgehog scoffed,

" Perhaps I am, jackal. . . "

He'd pull his hand away from his wrist, dropping the bottle onto the ground, though it didn't shatter, reaching that hand out towards Infinites unmasked face, taking hold of his cheek and tracing a thumb along the scar on his right eye.

" Or maybe I just enjoy how worked up it gets you... "

A low growl rumbled from the jackals throat as that scar was felt by the hedgehogs touch, a smirk etched on Shadows muzzle,
