Espresso's mother heard espresso and assumed her "son" didn't enjoy the birthday

"You know how we work hard to pay for that cake and the decorations just for you?!" Espresso's father exclaimed, "but-" Espresso was interrupted once more by his father, "DID YOU JUST TALK BACK TO ME?!"

"I didn't I was trying to fu-" espresso was interrupted AGAIN.espresso father hands banged the table as Madeleine yelped because of it.

"YOU ARE A DISGRACE FOR THIS FAMILY NEVER TALK BACK TO ME EVER AGAIN!" Espresso's father roared in an angry tone, making Espresso flinch and go quite"...." Espresso father sighed and exited the house, while espresso mother instantly followed him.

"I disappointed them again..." Espresso was anxious about the situation."It's not your fault you tried to talk to your...erm...father..."Madeleine smiled awkwardly at espresso. "But I swear I didn't try to talk back to him, I was trying to explain but he wouldn't let me!" Espresso was annoyed.

"ugh I don't have time for agruments.." Espresso groaned loudly."Just go to bed, I'm cleaning the table..." Espresso was agitated "oh..ok, love.." Madeleine was worried about Espresso, so they headed upstairs to their bedroom.

Espresso then removes there gloves, the frost slowly creeping across espresso's body as espresso shivers from the cold "shit..." Espresso was in pain from the cold, and they instantly wore their gloves again."Why is it always me?.." Espresso was furious and anxious, and they stood up

Midnight. 12:00 am

Espresso was having coffee after all of their stress, but as they drank, their cup began to frost.

"What the fudge!?" Espresso dropped their coffee as it became frosty. "Dammit, I thought my gloves would help me..." Espresso groaned, feeling stressed again, but then calmed down. "I have to clean this mess..."

After a few minutes of cleaning the broken cup, the espresso is finally finished! As Espresso headed upstairs to sleep with their love.

The following day

Espresso and Latte were visiting the park "have you heard about a personed named Crimson who died in 1927?!" Latte said in an excited tone "no?..." Espresso didn't know about that person

"I heard that they have the coolest and interesting stories! Their a coffee cookies!! Like us!" Latte was so happy about it "uhh k?" Espresso rolled their eyes doesn't care about it.

"So that's all?.." Espresso remarked "no you silly lil bro!" Latte grinned cheekily and ruffled her cousin's hair "HEY! Your ruining my hair!" Espresso snarled as they tried to fix their hair.

"Sorry..." Latte grinned awkwardly. Espresso hissed, "Ay, I'm sorry ok?!" Latte pouted.
"I ain't forgiving you!" Espresso hissed "is just a hair!" Latte pouted "still! I worked hard to make it better than yours!" Espresso stick their tongues out to bully Latte, "HEY THATS MEAN!" Latte became irritated.
"Go cry about it!" Espresso pushed latte away, but latte pushed them away. Espresso pushed latte away again, and they instantly started fighting like children.

"STOP IT!!" Latte cried. "NO YOU STOP IT!" Espresso yelled back. They kept fighting until they hit the statue. "OW my head!" Latte whined.She looked at the statue
Latte pushed espresso aside "OMG OMG OMG WERE HERE IS CRIMSON FROZEN STATUE OMG OMG!" Latte was so thrilled and delighted "whats so special about a Statue?..." Espresso asked

"ugh dumbass!" Espresso exclaimed "um I'm not dumb and plus I passed a lot of tests and I got higher grades than you!" Latte flexed "whatever.." Espresso rolled their eyes.Espresso then gazed at the stone sign regarding crimson espresso and froze in a fearful way. "Crimson caffeine?" espresso shivers. Crimson and espresso share the same last name, which could be a coincidence, right?

Espresso then quickly stared to the statue, which had a recognizable face but the other eye was veiled.

This made espresso frightened of crimson
"What's wrong, espresso?" Latte said. "Nothing.." Espresso was afraid. "Oh, okay then?" Latte was concerned.

"Can we leave? I wanna eat..oh and can Madeleine come too? I wanna be with them.." espresso was shaking with dread "ok then..." Latte was worried about her cousin.
