When you and Heeseung take care of children.

You were in the living room, immersed in your book, when you overheard Heeseung on a call. Curious, you listened closely. He was talking about babysitting and his calm demeanor piqued your interest. When he hung up, he saw your confused expression and gestured for you to sit on his lap.

"Come here," he said, patting his thigh with a warm smile.

You walked over and sat on his lap, tilting your head in curiosity. He couldn't resist your cuteness and placed a gentle kiss on your forehead. "What were you talking about?" you asked.

"My brother needs us to babysit his twins for a few hours while he attends an important meeting," Heeseung explained. "Are you okay with that?"

You smiled, happy to help but also feeling a bit nervous. "Sure, but you know... kids don't usually like me very much."

Heeseung's eyes softened as he looked at you. "Don't worry, you'll be great. And I'll be here with you the whole time."

His reassurance made you feel better, and you nodded. "Alright, let's do it."

When the twins arrived, they ran straight to Heeseung, their faces lighting up with joy. You smiled and waved at his brother, saying goodbye as he hurried off to his meeting. You watched from a distance as Heeseung played with the twins, and your heart melted at how natural he was with them.

"He's really the best with kids," you thought to yourself, smiling at the scene.

However, when Heeseung excused himself to use the bathroom, the twins turned their attention to you. Their once happy faces now bore glares.

"We don't like you," one of them said, crossing their arms.

"Yeah, we won't be friends with you," the other added, scowling.

Their words stung, and you felt a lump form in your throat. Trying to hold back your tears, you walked past Heeseung as he returned, heading straight to the bedroom. You closed the door behind you and sat on the bed, opening your book but unable to concentrate. Their harsh words echoed in your mind.

A few minutes later, Heeseung walked in, a concerned look on his face. "Hey, what's going on? You seemed fine earlier."

You looked up from your book, trying to mask your hurt feelings. "It's nothing, really."

Heeseung sat beside you, gently taking your hand. "It's not nothing. I can tell something's bothering you. Please, talk to me."

You sighed, closing your book and meeting his worried gaze. "The twins... they said they don't like me and they'll never be friends with me."

Heeseung's face softened with understanding. "I'm so sorry they said that. They're just kids, and sometimes they say things without realizing how hurtful they can be."

You nodded, feeling a bit relieved to share your feelings. "I know, but it still hurt."

Heeseung wrapped his arms around you, pulling you into a comforting hug. "You are amazing, and it's their loss if they don't see that. Let's go back out there together, and I'll make sure they understand how wonderful you are."

You looked up at him, your heart swelling with gratitude. "Thank you, Heeseung. You're always so good to me."

He smiled, giving you a reassuring kiss. "That's because I love you. Now, let's go win over those little rascals together."

You nodded, feeling more confident with Heeseung by your side. As you walked back to the living room, hand in hand, you felt ready to face the twins again, knowing you had Heeseung's unwavering support.

When the twins saw you both return, they hesitated for a moment, but Heeseung quickly addressed them. "Hey, guys, I want you to know that Y/N is very special to me. She's here to help and have fun with us today."

The twins looked at each other and then back at you. Their expressions softened slightly, and they nodded. With Heeseung's gentle encouragement, you slowly began to engage with the twins, playing games and telling stories.

To your surprise, the twins started to warm up to you. They laughed at your jokes and included you in their games. Heeseung smiled proudly, seeing the change in their attitude.

Later, when Heeseung had to step out again, the twins didn't glare at you this time. Instead, they approached you with curiosity.

"Can you tell us another story?" one of them asked shyly.

You smiled, feeling a sense of accomplishment. "Of course. Once upon a time..."

By the time Heeseung returned, you were all laughing together, the earlier tension forgotten. Heeseung joined in, and the room was filled with joy and warmth.

As the day came to an end and Heeseung's brother returned to pick up the twins, they hugged you goodbye, surprising you.

"Thanks for playing with us, Y/N," they said, smiling.

You felt a warm glow inside and waved them off. Once they were gone, Heeseung pulled you into a tight embrace.

"See? I knew you could do it," he whispered.

You smiled, looking up at him with love. "I couldn't have done it without you."

Heeseung kissed you softly. "We're a team, always."

You wrapped your arms around his neck, feeling grateful for his support and love. "Always," you echoed, knowing that together, you could face anything.
