Monday
I woke up at 6:15 I don't know why but I ended up getting ready I curled my hair did my makeup picked out a good outfit and made my lunch all by 7:05
I decided to treat myself and go get a Starbucks
It was a nice morning and Starbucks was only 2 blocks from my house so I decided to just walk
I got there in about 7 minutes
"Hi can I get a venti strawberry açaí refresher with light ice please" I asked the Starbucks employee
"That'll be $6.45" she smiled in response
I handed her the money then walked over to the waiting area
I opened my phone and opened a text from Luis saying
L: Hey I'm outside your house
Oh shit I didn't tell him I was coming here
A: Omg sorry I totally forgot to tell you I'm at Starbucks I walked over after I had gotten ready
L: ok ill pick you up there 🤍
A: ok thank you 🤍
"For ali" the Starbucks worker said holding my refresher "Ali??" A deep voice said from behind me
I turned around to see none other then Dean Portman
"Oh my gosh Dean?!?!" I said completely surprised walking towards him with open arms
Me and Dean were best friends all through elementary and middle school we had started dating then in 9th grade him and his family moved we had stayed in contact but eventually drifted even thought we had to break up I still enjoyed his presence
"Oh my god you look so good" he said pushing me out of the hug to examine me
"you look good too I see you've been hitting the gym a bit" I said jokingly because his biceps were the same size as one of my thighs
"Your still drinking the same thing from 6th grade I see" he said referring to my refresher
"It's my holy grail I think I'm 70 percent açaí now" we both laughed
We continued talking and I found out he transferred to eden "do you need a ride to school?" I was about to say yes then Luis walked in
"Ali I-" he stopped and looked at Dean "Portman no way" he said giving him a guy shake
"Ali how do you know my boy here" Luis asked me
"Oh me and Dean dated in middle school" I said looking up at Dean
"Ya listen I'll catch you guys later I can't be late for my meeting with the principal" he said hugging me and hitting Luis's shoulder
"You ready to go?" Luis said putting his hand on my waist "I guessssss" I said tiredly
We pulled into a kiss
