We get old.
We do.
When we do, we grow up. We mature. It is in our nature to do so.
And I realized I am a radically different person when I write nowadays as opposed to when I started writing on Wattpad in 2020. I have improved as a writer.
I have, and whenever I read my old chapters from the old version of Corheim, I cringe because I have become better than my old self, and seeing how many unnecessary mistakes I have seen and I am a writer—This is a garden, and I am the gardener.
The garden had become too unkempt, with too many weeds that could sap the life away from it.
I didn't know any better back then, but now I must burn the garden down and replant seeds for a brighter and healthier garden.
And that's why I have decided to rewrite Corheim since the older version—I didn't love it anymore. I had no passion when it came to writing that tournament arc because I didn't like it in the first place. I was following other trends that I saw from other artists and writers. Now, I am my person.
And this story proves that I have changed, from loving My Hero Academia to loving Berserk and Elden Ring because I aspire to be different.
And corheim is different.
Let me tell a new story of it if I may.
Let me tell you all a new story about Corheim.
Let's see if I get a second chance at this...
