Clary was in the living room , watching a movie with Montgomery , she had took a handful of popcorn , with her head laid on his shoulder.her gaze not leaving the TV screen as Clay came in the house.
"How's Skye ?" Lainie questioned.
"She's good." Clay said , while Clary was listening to their conversation as Monty's eyes didn't leave his phone screen.
"You should invite her in." Says Lainie , causing her son to grow confused. "We haven't seen her , since what ? Seventh grade ?"
"She hasn't really changed,"
"We'll have her over for dinner." Their mom suggested .
"Uh , Skye doesn't really eat dinner." Clary snorts slightly. "Don't fight it clay, they did that to Monty." Her words made Monty snicker.
His arm being thrown over her shoulder as she lifted her head off of him and he plants a kiss on her forehead.
"She doesn't eat ?" Lainie ignored her daughter's comment.
"I mean , no , she eats." Clay tells his mom."just not in situations with parents."
"Hey Monty , can you take Clarissa out the house ?" Lainie asks , confusing him . "I need to talk to Clay about something."
Ever since what happened to Clary , Lainie didn't want her involved with the trials.
"Sure." He agreed and turned on the TV , putting down the bowl of popcorn and Clary put on her sneakers. Confused as hell. Just then he took her hand and lead her towards the front door. "Come on , princess." He told her. "Let's go."

The next day , Clary had gone to school early with Monty , since he had baseball practice.
She was stood at her locker , texting Clay who did not turn up to school.
Watching as Zach talk to Jessica and Alex . She was shocked seeing them back.
Just then she saw her worst nightmare came into view . It was Bryce Walker , Scott Reed and her boyfriend walking towards the three of them . Her heart dropped.
Confusion written all over her face.
"Hey!" Bryce exclaimed as he and the other two got closer to them,. "Jess, Alex; welcome back, you guys."
