Cuddles after work (Jaiden)

(Starting off strong with none other than Jaiden!)

Aiden returned home after what could only be described as the worst day at work yet, Karens being as horrible as you can think of, kids screaming, fights happening in every aisle and the less we talk about an attempted robbery, the better.

All he wanted to do now was rest and hope tomorrow would be better.

Just as Aiden was about to lay down on the couch, he heard a very familiar voice, a voice of one of many who gave him care and attention, a voice almost as hypnotic as a siren's call, his one and only.

James.

Aiden always found something comfortable about James' voice, talking, laughing, singing, it was heaven to him, no matter what.

he followed where his voice was coming from and found it pretty easy, he was in the room they shared since moving in the home they have now, walking in, he saw James sitting on they're bed, acoustic guitar in hand, singing whatever romantic thing came to him.

Aiden was stunned, to put it simple, his face redden with embarrassment, knowing who it was made for, though who can blame him for it? James has been doing since day 1 of their relationship and it's clear he isn't stopping anytime soon.

Once James' singing was over, all Aiden could do was clap, which, unsurprisingly, James heard. "what? like what you just heard?" Aiden could only nod slowly while shaking as if he was about to faint at any given moment.

"Something wrong, sunshine?" "w-what!? no! no no no no! I'm fine!" Let's just say Aiden is anything but a good liar and James knew that all too well. "Aiden, sweetheart, you don't have to act okay when you clearly aren't." Aiden sighs. "I can't get anything passed you, can I?" "Nope, tell me what's the matter, mi amor." James patted the bed, signing Aiden to sit next to him, to which Aiden obliged with full consent.

"Now, tell me what's going on, darling." "Well, let's just say my time at work today was-" "absolutely horrible?" Aiden was surprised. "How did you know?" "Your body language speaks more than your words." "oh." James put his hand on his amor's shoulder. "It's alright, Aiden, just know that if you ever have a bad day, I'll be here to give my sunshine some love and care."

Aiden smiled, James calls him "sunshine" a lot and this time wasn't as different, it was just for comfort more than anything else. "Well, there is one thing I wanna tell you before we get some sleep." "what's that, Aiden?" "I may have heard you sing across the room to the hall." James blushed out of pure embarrassment, he done this many time before, but Aiden always asked beforehand if he could listen, but this time, he just heard him sing with him even realizing it.

"I guess that's why you asked earlier and I loved it, as always." Aiden kissed his cheek, causing James to do the same, but it wasn't only his cheek, it was almost his entire face, to which Aiden laugh, despite him doing it many times before, he still know how to do it by surprise.

"ahahahahaha! hubby, stop!" James stops as told. "Sorry, I can't help the fact that your face is so kissable and cute." James cups Aiden's cheeks and kisses him, it was quick but still had care put into it. "So, what do you wanna do now, Aiden?" instead of answering with words, he answered with a hug. "Let me guess, cuddle?" Aiden simply nodded, clearly getting tired for anything else.

"Okay, let's just get ready and then we'll cuddle, okay?" Aiden again nodded. James gently pulled Aiden off and helped him stand up to get his Pjs on. After that, it was finally time for cuddles and Aiden pretty much landed on James' chest the moment they got on the bed. "Goodnight, sunshine." James kissed his head and rubbed his back in a circle motion, Aiden just smiled in his sleep and clinged on to James' body.

Let's just say James might have hard time getting him up after this.

Man, what a start! unfortunately, requests sadly can't be taken for a few reasons

1: I'm lazy

2: some people are DISGUSTING! (do I even need to describe it? no, no I don't)

3: I might do something really wholesome with Jaiden in another one-shot.

4: our boy Tom needs to stop being sexualized, is that so much to ask!?

5: I'm unfocused a LOT of the time

and finally 6: leave Connor out of this, he's like a father figure, people.

either way, I like how this first DC story came out and I hope you do too.
