Akira is seen listening to music on her headphones as she danced through the hallway. She hummed softly swaying her hips as she strolled through until she felt someone dragged her inside a room.
She yelped in surprise and noticed she was now inside the bridge. She turns to Nya. "Nya! What the hell!"
"Sorry, about that." Nya apologized. "But, I wanna ask you something."
"Oh, ah, sure." Akira said.
"What do you think about Cole?" Nya asked.
At the mention of Cole's name, a faint blush began to creep up her cheeks. "Cole?" She repeated, her voice suddenly became a bit higher than usual. She cleared her throat. "Why do you ask?"
Nya smirked, leaning a bit closer. "Oh, no reason. Just curious what you think of him. You two seem to get along pretty well."
Akira takes a deep breath. "Well, Cole is... he's strong for one and he's a dork." She chuckles. "But, he's always there when you need him, you know? He's got this quiet strength about him thats really... comforting."
Nya's smirk softened into a gentle smile. She has been suspected something was going on between Akira and Cole after the Hypnobrai and Lloyd incident. Seeing her friend so flustered confirmed it.
"Sounds like you really admire him." She says.
Akira noded slowly. "I do. He's been through a lot but yet he remains kind and selfless. It's hard not to admire that."
Nya nudged Akira playfully. "And maybe more than just admire."
Akira's blush turned a darker shade of red. She looks at Nya with a mixture of embarrassment and hope. "Maybe." She admitted. "He's just... special to me."
Nya begins to squeal in joy as she held Akira's hands. "I think Cole feels the same way about you. I've seen the way he looks at you."
Akira's eyes widened in surprise. "Really? You think so?"
"I know so." Nya replied confidently. "Why do you think he always looks at you everytime you train?"
Akira chuckles. "That explains the stuttering."
Nya smiled. "You should talk to him, Strawberry. Let him know how you feel before it's too late."
"Maybe I will. Thanks, Nya." Akira smiled.
"Anytime, Strawberry. That's what friends are for." Nya grins. "I better call in the guys, we have a snake problem to deal with."
Akira nods her head.
Nya makes her way to the small microphone on a desk. "If you're done fooling around, I could use you guys on the bridge. We do still have a snake problem to attend to. Over and out!"
"It's one thing to let the son of your nemesis live with you. But having my sister here? I mean, come on! I thought this was a ninja headquarters."
Akira walks up to the microphone and grabs it. "You do know we can hear you, idiot! And let's make this one thing clear. Without Nya, you wouldn't receive any updates about the Serpentine's whereabouts, plus she has given us good advice up till now. So if you don't want me to come over there and break your spine in half, shut your pie hole!" She disclosed the microphone.
Nya cheeks flushed a slight pink. "Thanks, Akira. I appreciate the compliment."
"Anytime! Plaus, I think you'll be a great ninja one day. Maybe you'll even get a cool elemental power!" Akira beams, punching the air.
"Maybe." Nya chuckles.
The ninjas entered the bridge.
"Last we heard of Pythor, he stole the Map of Dens from Lloyd and is now on his way to open the last two Serpentine tombs." Nya said.
