Chapter 6: Furiosity

Haze was still walking out of VeloCity for quite a bit because he was simultaneously downloading his blast shield for the nuke which took a while. While Seraphina and Below were fighting for their lives in VeloCity trying to escape this giant being, although Archeon, but not truly. Archeon was stamping dangerously close to Below since he was injured and couldn't run as fast as Seraphina. "Seraphina, help yourself, don't worry about me..." said Below. Seraphina had that determined look on her face like she was imagining slaughtering somebody for a second, but as Below tripped over while he was trying to cope with his bodily pains, and as the massive foot was about to squash Below into the cement on the ground, Seraphina rushed in and stopped the ginormous foot crushing Below with her bare hands. Seraphina knew this was probably the worst mistake she had made in her life, other than one other time that Seraphina could very vaguely remember, when one day before her 9th birthday, she randomly woke up at 2:00 am, got up to the kitchen and found her mother's and father's handmade raspberry cake on the table, it was like a light in the darkness of her house and it looked so lush, so tender, adorable almost, that it had to be royally eaten by the raspberry wielder herself, Seraphina. In basically a matter of minutes, it was gone down her raspberry-craving hatch, But she didn't have time to think about that dissipating memory right now. Right now she was getting crushed by a monster the size of a billboard and is currently using her arms to lift the full force of a huge foot. Seems pretty silly and serious at the same time am I right? Meh, probably not. As Seraphina was carrying the full force of Archeon's monstrous foot, her arms, aching madly, but not her legs. Below speedily crawled out of range from the foot and Seraphina created her big, blue electric hands and wrapped them around Archeon's leg, made a knot, then put all her weight on toppling Archeon backwards. It was a struggle but doable. Seraphina leaned back with as much weight as she could and finally managed to topple him. Archeon's back landed on a tall, pointy building, stabbing Archeon in the chest. When Archeon fell, it created mass destruction to her surroundings and whooshing an almost endless, heavy cloud of dust and dirt onto Seraphina. Seraphina instinctively looked at her flask she had on, for no reason at all, but when she looked back up, Seraphina could see Hi-fi's silhouette amid the dust and was slowly gaining speed towards Seraphina. Maybe for a final showdown or something mushy like that. "Watch out!" Below said in shock, resting next to a run-down shop, but he was too late, Hi-fi had already pounced onto Seraphina, punching the mouth device on Seraphina repeatedly, making her mouth bleed under the mouth device, but miraculously, it started to break. This was practically Seraphina's only chance to get this stupid device off of her mouth so she could actually eat something. She was actually hoping Hi-fi would punch her more so she didn't Have to do it herself, but it hurt like hell in her mouth and she actually thought she was going to combust if Hi-fi did one more punch. Suddenly, it was happening, it was breaking! Crack after crack, punch after punch, it broke! Seraphina gasped the freshest gasp of air she had ever done in her 15 years of living, this felt even better than when she first went outside for the first time ever, not too long ago. Seraphina suddenly Roared with the maximum amount of furiousity she could let out of her vocal cords. Seraphina had the willpower to do anything now, even with, her gums bleeding, mind scattered, and her body utterly pushed to the limit. Seraphina continued roaring and slammed her right robot hand into Hi-fi's face dragging her onto the floor and right next to the wall Below was resting at. Then, Seraphina realised she finally had to will to speak to Below now. "Care to help?" Seraphina said auspiciously. "Sure" Below said weakly. Below held Hi-fi's head on the wall he was resting on with the same black hand that came out of his portal. Seraphina clutched Hi-fi's head, then burst all the energy she had in her robot arms, on Hi-fi. Seraphina tried to look the other way since the lights and all were still a lot to take in. Seraphina's hair was flowing in the rushing gust of electricity and power, Below had the same feeling. Just then, Hi-fi's face swelled up into bubbles and boils and was getting ready to explode. Hi-fi did a last deep hum, and then her torso and head released into a filthy, green and red mess. Below looked almost traumatized by the event. Seraphina slowly looked towards Below and tried grinning, but got held back by the pain in her mouth, so it turned out as an awkward smile. Below merely just said, "You're... so... malicious..." as he said, wiping the gunk off of him. Seraphina only scoffed and didn't say a word and simply did the same thing as Below. But then, oh but then, Archeon started to get up... he got to his feet surprisingly fast and looked down at them both, even though he had no head. Both of them, frozen in absolute dread, realised that they practically had no power against this beast. Suddenly, Archeon picked up Seraphina and Below in one hand, and tossed them into the sky, all at once. They came plunging down, extremely far away from Velocity now, they both came crashing down onto the ground, tossing and turning as they were losing speed, and finally, a flat facepalm for Seraphina on the ground. "Hey, Hey! Are you ok? Uhm... Wait... I never actually asked you your name?...", Below said while helping up Seraphina. "It's Sera... Phina..." She groggily said. But just as Below lifted up Seraphina, Below's face had an immediate change. It was hard to hold back gagging, but he luckily didn't. To the left of Seraphina's forehead, lots of flesh had torn and bits of flesh had been ripped apart. Seraphina tried her best not to Scream but unfortunately wasn't successful in doing so. She quickly opened her flask and pulled out a handful of raspberries which calmed her down a little. Below had an idea though... Something better than raspberries to ease the pain... He glanced at Seraphina and said, "I'm not sure, but this might hurt a bit..." He suddenly slithered inside Seraphina's mouth. Surprisingly, black goop covered all the bits of the fleshy forehead and Seraphina sighed a heavy breath of relief since she didn't have to endure any more pain. Below could also still talk in this... uhm... "forehead form"? But just as Seraphina had all her energy back, A loud blast sent her toppling back down. She moaned angrily and looked back to see the biggest explosion she'd seen in her life. It was a nuke. Seraphina was gazing at the dust cloud in awe as watching it, almost glued her shoes to the ground. But with courage, Seraphina sat down and ate lots of the raspberries she had stored. "Wasn't a piece of an Everlume in that city, Below?" Below answered, "Well, There, was..." He put some exaggeration on "Was". "Well, umm at least umm... at least... uh... um..." Seraphina confusingly said. She trailed off for a while, while they both were still looking at the huge gust of cloud and radiation. "Well VeloCity's gone... I guess we should get going..." and Seraphina got up and walked back where she came from where Archeon and Seraphina first entered VeloCity. "My sweetest raspberries go out to you Archeon..." Haze, on the other hand, was completely on the other side of where Seraphina was and didn't have much use for the blast shield since he was so far away from it, so he put it away. "No, no, no! How? How did she escape from the blast?... Eh, well I still got a ton of exp from the civilians, like I said!" A small circle of digital confetti surrounded him for a second. "Anyways, works done for today!... maybe I'll try get that girl tomorrow..." And so he parted his way as well... Seraphina had gotten to the subway, where she had gone before, but as she was going to one she had already went to, she saw a part of the station, next to where the train runs, which said, "Path to daylight" Seraphina had a spilt option, but Below was sceptical and was trying to convince her to go back to where she came from, but she wanted to make another detour... She ran up to the train station, and hopped on the train with a... human?... operating it?... this was wildly strange since she thought that all the last humans lived where she did. She had to get onto the train. It seemed like her destiny. But she knew she had to have one last look at where she came from. Seraphina actually forgot what neighbourhood she actually
came from, but she sure did know the way home... will getting one last peek of home be that easy though?...
