Remus was terrified. He was back at hogwarts. But instead of being a student he was now a professor.

If his past self and the marauders would see him now he was sure they would laugh. What a joke he must look like. Old raggedy clothes with even more scars and a sad looking face.

Remus remembered when he was at hogwarts. He also remembered that the marauders made many of the professors life difficult. He just hoped that no student was like him and his friends once were.

But now he has to teach students. Surely he would do terrible. He was a wreck. A absolute nervous wreck. He can't do this. But he had to.

Remus's hands trembled under the table while sitting in the great hall. He was going to be announced as their new professor soon. So many eyes would look at him. Could he teach these young minds? Would he do a good job?

He already knew snape despised him. Remus once attacked him after all in their school years when he turned. Even if he wanted to or not it happened.

Remus heard his name being announced to the students and tried to remain calm; while standing up with a gentle smile and waving a hand listening to the applause and quickly sits back down.

Remus usually wasn't exactly this nervous. But he was close to the full moon. He didn't want to hurt anyone on accident or snap at a student without thinking.

Remus couldn't always control what happened. But oh he wish he could.

Remus tried to stomach the food throughout the dinner and waited for all the students to leave and then quickly left before Snape could make some kind of snobby comment.

As Remus got back to his room he took a deep breath before slowly undressing and then takes a shower and going to sleep hoping the next day will be maybe a bit less anxious.

Today was the first day he would teach students. His first class shouldn't be to bad. He was teaching fifth years after all. And Remus was right. The fifth years got this mostly quickly and they weren't much trouble at all. This calmed Remus's nerves just a bit.

Remus luckily made it throughout the day without much trouble. Maybe a bit from the rivalry from Slytherins and griffindors. And the Weasley twins who were obviously the gods punishing Remus from pranking back when he was in hogwarts seeing as they were the same.

He felt sick at the end of the day. Like he would pass out. He wanted to pass out. But tonight was a full moon. Remus sighed and silently walked to the shrieking shack and walked inside. He sighed and took off his clothes to not shred them when he transformed. Remus shivered with the coldness of the wind as body was now covered in goosebumps due to the cold temperature.

Remus sighed and despite the cold temperature and not wearing clothes he opened the door so when he transformed; moony could leave without breaking any walls.

Remus twitched when starting to feel the pain of turning into a werewolf. A long time ago this process would take maybe hours or minutes. But now it would only take some seconds but was terribly painful all the same.

So with a sharp scream in absolute agony Remus transformed as his skin ripped and bled and bones broke and shifted through his body and skin tears open for the new bones and body crunches. Remus screams again which quickly turns into howls of pain as jaw breaks and shifted into a muzzle and teeth bleed as they come out further and shaper.

As the transformation finally finished the werewolf whined slightly before standing up and bolted out of the shrieking shack and back into the familiar woods of the forbidden woods.
