3rd P.O.V.
THE CAR came to a stop, and the driver's voice broke the tranquillity of the moment. "Madam, we are here," he announced. Layla peered through the window, her eyes glistening at the sight of the majestic 5-star establishment before her. The name "Solem et Luna" adorned the building—a world-famous hotel and restaurant that had been standing since the early 1930s, exuding an air of elegance and history.Recognizing the car's design and plate number, an employee from the hotel quickly identified the owner and alerted the rest of the staff, urging them to prepare themselves for the arrival of the esteemed guest. Two employees rushed forward, opening the doors of both sides of the car to welcome Layla and William.
"Good evening, Madam Kwon and Young Master William," the employee who had spotted the car first greeted them, bowing respectfully. Layla offered a warm smile in return. "Good evening to you as well, Mark. I trust you have been taking care of the business while I was away?" she inquired, her voice filled with a mix of appreciation and expectation.
Mark Nam, the manager of Solem et Luna, straightened his back, radiating confidence. His smile widened as he responded, "Everything has been well managed, just as you expected, Madam. How may we assist you and your son tonight?" he inquired, ready to cater to their every need and ensure their dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.
Layla's gaze shifted to William, silently seeking his input on their preferences. With a gentle smile, she turned back to Mark. "We would like a cozy table near the window, if possible. And perhaps you could recommend some of your signature dishes for us to try," she suggested, her voice tinged with anticipation.
Mark nodded, his professionalism evident. "Of course, Madam. We will make the necessary arrangements and guide you to your table. Our chef will be delighted to prepare a selection of our finest dishes for your enjoyment," he assured her, his commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience shining through.
As Layla and William made their way towards the entrance of the establishment, passersby couldn't help but be captivated by the presence of the two prominent figures. Whispers filled the air as people recognized Layla Kwon and her son, William Kwon.
"Isn't she Layla Kwon and her son, William?"
"That's definitely them. I mean, with that face? Who wouldn't recognize them?"
"I can't believe Layla Kwon is 45. She looks like she's in her late 20s."
"Wow, did you just see Layla-Unnie's son, William? He's even more handsome in real life!"
Amidst the attention they garnered, Layla and William reached their destination and were led to a private dining area on the top floor of the building. Positioned next to a window, they were treated to a breathtaking view of the city, illuminated by the shimmering lights beneath the night sky. The ambience was perfect for their dinner.
