Bloodlust (Loki X OC story)

Chapter Two: Confessions

The sounds of a spear and a sword clashing together echo through the palace.
There wasn't a war going on, it was just Sif and Amortentia doing 1v1 battle training.
"Seems like you're getting rusty there, Sif." Amortentia says, deflecting Sif's advancement before lunging towards her.
"Hah! If anyone's getting rusty, it's you, Ama. You've been spending so much time with Loki that you barely train anymore." Sif says, rolling out of the way and swiping at her friend.
"There's more to life than training." Amortentia says to her friend, jumping over her friend's leg and throwing the spear at her. Sif dodges, but not before the spear pins her cape to the wall.
Amortentia summons a whip, throwing it at Sif, in which it wraps around Sif's wrist.
Amortentia pulls hard, throwing her friend onto the floor, and places her foot on her friend's chest. "What was that about me being rusty?"
Sif rolls her eyes as Amortentia holds out her hand and helps her friend up. "I take back my statement about you being rusty, but I'm not wrong about the fact that you've been spending a lot of time with Loki nowadays. You know I'm right."
Amortentia shakes her head. "Is it not wrong that I want to spend more time with my best friend?"
Sif raises an eyebrow. "Really? WIth how close you two are, if I didn't know better, I'd assume you two are dating."Amortentia laughs. Unbeknownst to her, Loki and Thor were walking up to the two girls behind her.
"Who's dating who now?" Thor asks, causing Amortentia to yelp in surprise.
"Thor! You scared the shit outta me!" Thor chuckles.
Loki gets the idea to use his illusions to turn invisible.
"Apologies, Ama. I didn't mean to scare you."
Amortentia sighs as Sif chuckles. "I'd avoid trying to scare her if I were you otherwise.."
"Boo!" Loki says, grabbing Amortentia by the shoulders, causing her to yelp and punch him in the face.
"Oh, shit! Loki, I'm so sorry!" Amortentia says with a small gasp.
"that might happen." Sif finishes.
Amorentia heals Loki's nose, stopping it from bleeding. "I am so sorry Loki." She says.
"Lesson learned: Don't grab Ama by the shoulders when scaring her, unless you wanna get punched." Loki says with a chuckle.
Thor and Sif laugh while Amortentia looks mortified by her actions.
"I'm fine, Ama. I promise." Loki says, reassuring her.
Amortentia sighs in relief as Loki grabs her hand. "Can I talk to you alone?"
"Sure. I'll see you two later then!" Amortentia calls behind her as Loki drags her away.
"Ok, ok, I'm coming!" She says with a laugh as Loki drags her to the palace garden.
"What're we doing here Loki?"
"You remember when we met, right?" Loki asks in a soft tone.
"Vividly because I was there." Amortentia says with a small laugh.
Loki chuckles. "I wanted to bring you here because this is the place that we became friends. My entire life, all I wanted was to be enough. To be what everyone wanted. Instead, Thor was. I lived in his shadow for years, and I won't be surprised if I will continue to be stuck there. But with you, it's like I have never wanted anything else but you. Though that isn't true, it's what it feels like. When it comes to you, I'm powerless against whatever force you have hold of me with, but I'm going to be honest, I don't mind... Thor is a different story."
Amortentia giggles as Loki takes her hands.
"I love you, Ama." Loki says, holding her close.
Amortentia chuckles softly as she cups his face. "I love you too."
The two kiss, unaware that Thor and Sif are watching from afar.
They fist-pump.
Thor smiles. "They're a match-"
"Made in heaven." Sif finishes.
Amortentia spots the two out of the corner of her eye and pulls away from Loki. "Have you two been fucking spying on us this entire time?!"
