CHAPTER 25

Third person POV

        Nick's mum knock on the door of our bedroom. "Coming" Nick said opening the door; OH Ma what's happened. "NOTHING I JUST CAME TO CHECK ON YOU ; AND EVERYBODY WILL BE HOME IN SOME HOURS ". "We'll be down in mins don't worry " Nick stated and turn around to walk towards bed "what she said " Shas asked Nick " She asked us to come down for dinner my dad and sister are gonna come within hours ". " I'll go freshen up and then we will head down " Shas said and entered the bathroom .

Nevaeh's POV

      I left my office as it was the time to close it and leave for house , when I reached home I saw Nick's car in the garage excitement washed over me and so did the curiosity to meet the new boy his BOYFRIEND !! . I ran straight to the main door and rang bell a few times . I heard my mom cursing me for doing this , this shit always annoy her and I love it . Nick opened the door and smiled at me . " Oh my god you have grown up so much Nick I can't believe you're my brother " I stated and hugged him tightly. " Nevaeh stop being so dramatic you just saw me 6 months ago and I don't think I have changed at all I mean maybe my physique might have " he said flexing his muscles. "Not that I mean yea your physique has been changed but I meant your face it has that lover glow look at your face it screams that you're in love " I said entering the living room and scanning around . I made an eye contact with the new face in our living room "Oh hello Shashank; it's a pleasure to have you here" I said extending an hand for handshake . He took my hand and shake it exchanging few words "Its nice to meet you too Nevaeh ". "You're so pretty no doubt why my brother is so whipped for you". My statement made both of them blush and Shashank was all red . "Ma where is Nova I haven't seen here yet "?
"SHE IS STAYING AT HER FRIEND'S HOUSE FOR NIGHT "Ma replied from kitchen. "Have you met our dad yet "? I asked Shashank . " Not yet ". "Okay don't worry he isn't scary he is actually nice and calm " I stated looking at him frowning his eyebrows. "Ok don't scare him anymore let's eat first dinner is ready ". We all entered the dining room and took our seat .

Shashank POV

I can't believe I was meeting his family for real I have met half of them and half of them we still yet to met we were leaving the living room to enter the dining area when the main door opened. I saw a tall men enter the hallway. "NICK YOU'RE HERE " said his dad and Nick went to hug him . "I MISSED MY PRINCE " he said ruffling his hair . He hung his coat to the coat rack and walk towards the dining room. We all took our seat Me , Nick and Nevaeh on one side and Both of his parents on the other side . I hate that I am  this introvert and awkward meeting new people his dad keep glancing at me and smiles so did I smiling awkwardly while food in my mouth ; I was taken aback by the manner of theirs no talking when eating while at mines it's always fight , argument, anger , and tons of curses. We finished our dinner and I helped his mom to clean I took dishes to the dishwasher and clean the table even tho his mom said no multiple time I needed to help because it's basic etiquette .
Me and his mom existed the kitchen and went to the drawing room where all were seated . I took the seat beside his mom as the seat beside him was taken by Nevaeh. "HELLO KID HOW ARE YOU DOING " his dad asked me "Good " I replied to him with a nod . "So how you two met"? . "Well it's actually a funny story on how me met " I stated. "Oh really I would love to listen if you wanna narrate ". "Why not I would love it too so it was the first day of the University and I have it totally all planned but someone ruined it by almost killing me " . "Hey I did not want to kill you or anyone " Nick said. "You might have had if I didn't had ducked" I said rolling my eyes and obviously received a side eye from him .
" Oh ok you guys so have you visited your family this holiday "? . I was to stunned to speak my throat went dry and words couldn't leave my mouth. "Actually I asked him to tag along with me because he was too tried to travel so much and his family was insisting too much to come but he already said yes to me so he came here with me " Nick came to my rescue I looked at him with a sad smile on my face; he gave me a half smile and nodded at me .
