-Previously-
The kiseki, along with Kuroko go to Kuroko's house, all of them wondering how the Kurokos are so rich. When they get inside the house, they see a man they never expected to see.

-Now-

The kiseki are dumbfounded by the person standing in front of them. Why was he here and how was he connected to Kuroko?

" Otou-sama. What are you doing here?" is what comes out of Akashi's mouth. He simply smiles and says," Seijūrō. Meet the son of my bodyguard and your very own bodyguard, Tetsuya-kun. I wanted to introduce you two earlier but couldn't find the right time. So, take this as your first official meeting, bodyguard to client."

Akashi was silent for a moment, trying to process all of the information given to him. Kuroko was his bodyguard. That meant that Kuroko, despite his young age was working in a dangerous job. This probably lead back to his parents, who, if he remembered correctly, were never really talked about. How nitpicky his father could be was another thing yet to be processed. He was, very very careful about things that involved their safety to say the very least. This also meant that Kuroko must have been skilled and most probably one of the top workers in the company, or whatever it was that he was working in.

This, yet again, led back to Kuroko's parents, and the relationship his own parents or, at least, his dad had with them. How close must he have been to get Kuroko to be his own son's bodyguard?

Meanwhile, Kuroko could see the gears in Akashi's brain turning, finding the answer to each question and a new question to each answer. He could so far as track what it was that Akashi was thinking. They had gotten quite close in the past few months especially, but he had always been keeping track of Akashi's every move, observing him and making sure that nobody would try to kill him. And even if they did try, he made sure they never succeeded and were never able to try again. Sure, he would make a lot of enemies this way, but that was just his job was it not?

After processing all the things given to him, albeit taking a bit longer than needed, Akashi let out a small "oh." His father had never mentioned knowing the Kurokos at a personal level, and now he could understand why. This entire thing- however long it had been going on- would not have worked this well if the Kurokos and Akashis met up often. And now that Akashi thought about it, Kuroko hadn't talked too much about his family. In fact, he had basically never brought them up unless one of them, meaning the kiseki, had brought him up.

Akashi was, surprised, to say the least. He was shocked he had been so utterly careless. He was surprised none of this caught his attention. He would usually have wondered about all of this. But this further made him wonder. Did Kuroko only get close to them because of his job? Or was it just a fortunate accident? He would definitely be upset if it were the former rather than the latter. They had become quite close in the past few months so it would definitely be sad if he learnt that was all because he was his bodyguard.

Masaomi could sense what Akashi was thinking. While Kuroko had refused to tell him the details of any of their conversations and meetings, he was not a brick wall. He could guess that the two were close, and while he would have liked them to have a business relationship, that wasn't how it was and he wouldn't meddle with what had already happened. He decided to clarify some things before they got out of hand.

"As you may be wondering, it was a fortunate accident that Kuroko had been in the same school as you. As you know, Kuroko is your bodyguard. But it was only after he got close with you that you started to be in danger. People targeting Kuroko-kun would try to kill you, and if they did get the job done, it would be a double win, killing one of the people of the highest position in the underground and the heir of the second biggest company. I couldn't have that happening could I?"
