Chapter - 7
____________Lexi was awestruck when she was brought into the empty room, the room was nothing but white, and the door was white too.
She didn't expect that to be the case.
But she was still sweating from the unseen.
Exel touched her shoulder firmly and she flinched and looked at him in surprise, in the process stepping away from him.
They were alone, God knows what was he thinking when he brought her there.
The interior was nothing like it appeared from the front.
It was clean and high-roofed, no idea why she was brought there.
She is still not fully trusting his intentions with her but she can relax that it's not what she was thinking.
"Why?" She almost whispered.
"Why we are here?" She looked at him.
He was just staring at her like he was looking at something which wasn't real, for him, it was close to a dream.
To be talking with her freely and to be next to her when his entire life, he had only watched her from afar, growing up with Evon as her favourite childhood friend and cousin. So he assumed.
He was just in the background, looking at her and wished that she would look at him the way she admired Evon, the perfect boy in her eyes.
"You will see why I brought you here, and-" He was going somewhere but paused and looked at her.
"And about forcing you to come here, I feel sorry."
With that, he left her in that room.
She didn't know how to cope with her fear.
The way she remembered crossing him 2 months ago before, he didn't look at her and she somehow managed to avoid him as she was learning to drive a car by herself on the racing track stadium owned by her Uncle, Mr. Storm.
She never thought that he would ever talk with her in this lifetime.
She could only trust him for less than 1% with all she had seen and experienced regarding him.
But as the place wasn't some cheap local Motel which she was thinking about, she was starting to get guilty.
And Oh God! Did she yell at him and say what was on her mind?
Her ears and neck flushed in embarrassment and a fear of facing him again.
She was stupid to get ahead of her words.
Is the place some kind of secret base?
She had been watching crime and thriller series way too much, now she regrets it cause she is extra aware of her surroundings.
She walked around the room until she realised that she was under the impression of the hidden camera everywhere in that room in every corner of the room, Ventilation was working and so was the AC.
He returned from the other white door and caught her looking around the room.
"I know it's boring." He said.
She clutched her clothes and almost jumped when he approached her.
He noticed every time the way she reacted around him.
Everything he planned was a waste cause she looked more frightened of him.
That made his blood rote and boil but he couldn't show it right in her presence, all his veins were popping out of his skin, and the vein near his eyes was visible to let her know that he was mad even though he was merely expressing his thoughts and disappointment.
