Quackity POV
He stays knelt behind the roof, from his observation he has arrived here a little before the other assasin standing below in the alleyway, he doesn't seem very impressive, Quackity can tell where his hidden guns are instantly just from practice. The man is tall, wearing a dark trench coat that shadows most of his figure besides his curly brown hair and the striking white streak, that stands out the most. He seems to be talking to someone over a mic.
Quackity keeps his gun hidden below the roofline, he has to camp out and wait.
For a moment the other assasin doesn't move then he slowly starts to walk getting himself over the wall of the alleyway. Quackity considers his skill level very unprofessional already. Careless even.
The person in the house is moving around definitely drinking alcohol, he discovers as he slips on the side of his special green eye piece attached to his mic zooming in on the man drinking the wine. His eyes narrow slightly as he watches the assasin creeping up.
His other eye is covered by a black eyepatch, for a reason he never tells anyone.
He keeps ducked behind the roof as he hears a voice talking, seems like the assasin has been discovered.
Idiot. He thinks to himself wondering how someone could be so careless.
There's soon two gunshots, the second about 20 seconds after the first. There's running feet and the assasin runs back into the alleyway, Quackity sees his target is following with a gun in hand.
He's gonna get himself killed right now.
He stares as the assasin raises his hands his gun clattering down.
Quackity sighs adjusting his gun to aim,
Can't let him steal my kill.
He positions his sniper twords the assassin's head, right in the middle, but as he shoots it shifts slightly to the side.
He swears barely seeing the bullet hit the other man killing him instantly as he topples back.
"Headshot" he murmurs into his mic so the people think he's killed the intended target when he actually had killed the other.
"Ah shit, I missed the real target" he swears to himself as he turns his mic off again ducking his gun behind the roof as the other assassin's eyes go up there.
He saw me, too late now.
He pulls out his close quarters gun from where it is in his belt. Pulling up his black mask over his mouth and nose he spreads his wings springing down from the building landing to the side of the alleyway lightly. He hops it easily, the real target has grabbed his gun straightening.
Quackity tucks his wings out of view then says loudly.
"Don't move or I shoot."
The other man tenses then slowly turns failing the one command Quackity just said, he sighs to himself seeing the other agent's gun raised.
He shoots for his head, the gunshot ringing out in the night. The other assasin manages to duck, the bullet barely missing and going into the alleyway wall.
Quackity's eyes widen as he sees he missed.
How is he so bad yet so good at the same time! How did he manage to duck from that!
The other assasin is gaping at him, he slowly raises his gun. Quackity eyes it, absolute trash. On the assassin spectrum at least, the guns at his agency are much better then that. And to think this guy is supposed to be dangerous. Luzu would be laughing so hard right now.
Perhaps this is also the wrong target.
He stands there a little uncertain if he should try to shoot again, he's wasting time here, someone could have heard or seen by now and the police could be arriving any minute.
The best option would be to leave but he doesn't want to admit defeat, he can tell the other assassin doesn't want to shoot him, his finger is held lightly on the trigger of his gun.He keeps his gaze on the other man, perhaps he's hiding skill under his unprofessional look.
Best to just kill him and get it over with.
Wilbur POV
He stares at the other assassin before him, very short and skinny, definitely agile. He must be from another agency. He looks very different, much more professional and rich. Wilbur is confused for a moment on his gender, seeing the black mask covering his nose and mouth, the eyepatch over one eye and the long black fluffy shoulder length hair. He assumes its a man though, from the voice.
The other man's dark eyes are narrowed, well one of them, Wilbur can't see the other.
He's wearing a black top, sleeves rolled up to his elbows but there's long black fingerless gloves covering the rest of his skin, there's little pockets on the arms probably where extra bullets are.
He has on a dark silver belt with a few weapons probably on it, Wilbur thinks he sees the shine of a knife or dagger for a moment.
The shirt is cropped on the sides of his waist, the only place he's showing skin. He got on black cargo pants with definitely a lot of guns and other tools and weapons hidden in them.
"Hey handsome" Wilbur winks at him slightly trying to regain some sort of control of the situation, and also add some charm, he's good at that, he could get a girl pretty easy, or guy.
The short assassin doesn't move, his eye still narrowed dangerously, Wilbur wonders why he covers the other with the eyepatch.
"So uh hey, you saved me" he says trying to play it nice and act like he's not a threat.
"I didn't save you" the assasin has his gun raised still, definitely fancy, it has silver patterns on it too.
"Yeah you did, you killed that guy" Wilbur gestures to the lifeless form of his target.
The shorter male looks over there too, "Oh, no that was accident. I missed."
"Huh?" Wilbur asks, "you hit him square in the head..."
A cold sinking feeling is coming over him now as he stares at the other assassin gun still pointed.
He missed...?
He didnt mean to hit that guy.
He glances over to the rich guy's form lifeless on the ground once more. He had assumed they just had the same target and that's why the other assassin is mad at him.
But if the rich guy wasn't his target...
I'm his target.
