*knock* *knock*
"Rebecca?" "Becca, I know you're in there please open the door."
The door slides open, revealing a dimly lit apartment, trash scattered across the place
"Rebecca?"
Exploring around I can see the place is completely trashed
"I wanted to be the one"
I can hear her in another part of the apartment, heavily grunting
I peer into her room see her punching the wall, spraying her bloody knuckles against the wall, over and over and over again
"Rebecca?"
"I wanted to be the one!"
"Rebecca?"
"I WANT TO BE THE ONE TO KILL HIM!"
"REBECCA!"
She stops punching the wall finally acknowledging me, slowly looking at me, I can see her eyes were red and dry from crying
"Becca, please stop"
"I wanted to kill him."
Walking to her I put my hands on her shoulders, turning her to face me
"I know you did, I know."
"He was the only family I had left, I have nothing now!"
Her eyes were turning glassy as she was about to start crying again, using my thumbs to wipe away the tears, I pulled her into a hug. She just collapsed into my arms.
"Just fall apart, let it out I'll hold you together."
With those words she cried, wailed, just fell apart.
"Will you be there?"
"What?"
"Will you be there when it all goes to shit, when I get zeroed?"
"Of course I will, I'll be by your side till the end."
