Naruto kicked open the door to his new dorm room with a burst of enthusiasm, his usual cheeky grin plastered onto his face. Bustling sounds of the college town just outside the window promising a new start, away from high school. Naruto stepped over the doorframe, readjusting the strap to his long past the due date backpack, his eyes scanning over the room. Two beds, two desks, a shared closet, and just enough space to make it not feel too crowded.
The blondes gaze snapped over to the other bed, already neatly made with books and a laptop stacked on the pillow.
"Guess that means the other one's mine then?" Naruto said aloud with a look of confusion plastered over his features.
His new roommate had arrived before him, evidently so. Naruto stared at the best disinterested, why did they just drop their stuff off and leave? Not even bothering too stay and say hi...
'I'm getting a weird sense of reja dae.. or whatever it's called'

Just as Naruto's hand reached out to hang up his last piece of clothing, the door swung open quietly, Naruto turned ready to give him a piece of his mind before he realized who exactly was in the doorway as he took in the sight of the slightly taller raven haired figure
"I- sasuke?" Naruto exclaimed, his voice tinged with surprise before a grin plastered over his features.
Sasuke stepped into the room, his piercing eyes sweeping over Naruto before a small smirk tugged at the corner of his lips, quickly hiding it as his face went back too his usual uncaring expression. He dropped his bag on the the bed giving a quick casual glance towards Naruto
"Dobe." he acknowledged, shutting the door behind him with his foot.
Naruto stared at Sasuke as he attempted to make sense of the situation. Sasuke was his roomate the same Sasuke who always seemed to have a dark cloud hanging over his head in high school, who rarely spoke more than a few words to him? This was gonna be fun..
"So, we're roommates, huh?" Naruto said, trying to sound cheerful as he gave a light laugh, holding his hand out with a nervous smile. "Guess that means we we're made for each other in a way?" Naruto spoke giving a quick wink in a sarcastic matter with his usual cheeky smile plastered across his face
