Hi, I'm Kaya Long, I'm 13 years old and I'm a demigod.
I'm sure if you started reading this you know what a demigod is, probably like me you read the books "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" and their sequels.
Now you must be confused (or think I'm crazy), how did you read the books and a Demigod?
If you want to hear my story, Kaia Long, daughter of Poseidon and legacy of Athena, read on. ─★─
It all started on another typical Wednesday, I was sitting in my place in the classroom - the last row, the column by the windows, the best place - with one ear covered by my brown hair so the teacher wouldn't see, writing in a notebook. Well, the teacher thought I was copying from the board, but the truth was I was just scribbling in my notebook.
"Okay students, I have to go and I will be replaced by three sweet children, please behave yourself." Teacher Diana said, she smiled at us and left the classroom.
In less than a minute, three children entered the classroom, two boys and one girl. The girl had long curly blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail, gray eyes and a Californian tan.
The boy standing next to her had messy dark black hair, blue eyes like the sea and a mischievous smile.
The third boy had curly brown hair hidden in a stocking cap, and a goatee, he entered the classroom with a limp.
The strange thing here was that they were wearing Camp Half-Blood shirts, and looked exactly like I imagined Annabeth, Percy, and Grover. The girl smiled at us, passing a glance at all of us and stops her gaze a little too long - two seconds longer - at me, maybe because I was staring at them.
"Ok hi everyone I'm Annabeth this is Percy and this is Grover Mrs. Grady is out for a while and we're going to switch places."
what. the. hell.
Someone is kidding me!!
There is no way their names are Annabeth, Percy and Grover and they look like simulations!!!
Maybe they like the books and made a cosplay and came here with him."So we're going to learn about Greek mythology" Annabeth said, ok this is really weird. really odd.
"Does anyone here know a bit about Mythogalia?" I raised my hand.
"Yes? What's your name?" Annabeth pointed at me, Percy at this time sat on the teacher's chair playing with a pen he took out of the chair
"Kaya" "okay Kaya, what do you know about Greek mythology?"
"There are 12 Olympian gods, Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, Ares, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Phaistos, Opertadia, Hermes and Dionysus. Each god presides over something else. Let's say Poseidon is the god of the sea, earthquakes and he also created the horses.
There are two other important gods, Hades who is the brother of Zeus and Poseidon and all three together are considered the three big ones, and Hestia who was part of the 12 Olympian gods but gave up her place for Dionysus. All, except Hades who is in Sheol because he is its ruler, are in Olympus, and Zeus is the king. Most of the gods except Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, Opertadia, and Hestia are the children of Zeus, Ares and Phaistos are the sons of Zeus and Hera." I started talking endlessly like a tyrant calling me out for talking about things I like.Annabeth, Percy and Grover exchanged a look then Annabeth nodded at me "I see you know a lot about mythology" she smiled, I nodded "How do you know? Did you study?" At this point she came to sit next to me, the other students were minding their own business. I nodded again, the whole class we talked about Greek mythology.
There was a ring and she stood up "come with me" she said smiling, I stood up taking all my equipment quietly.
We went, along with Percy and Grover, outside a school."So Kaya.." Annabeth smiled "I have something to tell you, you'll think I'm crazy but it's real. Totally." We sat down under a tree.
What does she have to tell me? That the mythology is real and she is the daughter of Athena and Percy the son of Poseidon and Grover Steyr?
Of course, because it's so real.
