Akihiro
"Run, Akihiro!" Sanchez yelled as he continued blocking Master Akio's attacks. "Run!"
Knowing Master Akio, he wouldn't back down without him having the last laugh and I also know for a fact that Sanchez will not either.
I watched how their swords would collide with one another, creating clanging sounds as they come into contact.
Sanchez bested Master Akio in strength, endurance and speed. Surely, he'd keep him busy for a moment which would be enough to purge ourselves out of this battle zone.
I resoluted myself and carried Synthia with all my might, disregarding the immense pain I was feeling from my own injury.
The injury in my arm lessened my capability to lift anything off the ground. The searing pain was burning through my muscles and skin as I tried my best to keep Synthia and I upright. That moment felt like an eternity and each step I take makes everything feel like a torture.
I limped on our way towards the door, struggling to keep Synthia's arm from falling off my shoulders but eventually, I lost my balance causing for me to stumble on my feet, causing the two of us to fall over.
I grunted in pain.
As I attempted to collect myself, Sanchez came flying off towards the wall ahead, crashing himself in an immense manner, knocking him out cold almost instantly.
My eyes widened at the sight before I threw my gaze behind me.
Master Akio was now gradually approaching us, his eyes, filled with nothing but desire to kill.
I nervously gulped my saliva.
At this point, I am weak enough to deflect any attacks from him. Even if I tried to distract him away from Synthia and Sanchez, I would only keep him for a short time.
There was no other way.
Akio started to laugh, menacingly.
"You think you can get away from me?" He yelled before I felt his presence right on top of me. I then felt his hand grab the back of my neck, forcefully lifting me off the ground like how a wolf picks up its pup by its scruff.
"Let go!" I yelled, trying my best to hit him but the position used to hold me up made it impossible to directly hit him
"A nuisance," He growled before throwing me off towards the wall with such force. My whole body slammed against the concrete wall, giving me even more pain than I felt before. I then fell off the ground, just inches away from Sanchez who was now unconcious.
"It saddens me how much you disappointed me, Akihiro." Akio let out a sigh. "Why must u do this?"
I grunted in pain as I attempted to flip myself over.
My eyes immediately landed on Akihiro. He was standing, his arms, wide open as he stared at the ceiling.
I then summoned my sword and tried to stand, planning to attack him from behind but I was already too weak to be able to move that quick.
So I just let myself sink.
My eyes then fell on Synthia, who was still lying motionless on the ground.
My chest would hurt at the sight but I can't do anything now.
I let out a shaky breath, giving me a slight stinging pain on the side of my rib.
"You seem to be in a bad shape." I heard an unknown voice. My eyes widened before I felt a presence appear nearby.
I looked up and I met gazes with a young man with a pair of chocolate brown eyes.
