After wrapping up a grueling day of practice with your group PROMISE, you decided to pay a visit to Heeseung at his studio. It was one of those rare moments when your schedules aligned, and you couldn't resist the opportunity to see him. The building was quiet, save for the distant hum of music and the occasional murmur of voices. You found the familiar door to Heeseung's studio and knocked gently before pushing it open.
Heeseung looked up from his work and his face lit up with a smile. "Hey, you're here," he said, his voice warm with affection. He motioned for you to come closer. "Come sit on my lap."
You blushed at the suggestion. Despite it being a few months since you started dating, you still felt shy about such intimate gestures. Shaking your head, you tried to decline. "No, it's okay. I'll just sit here," you said, pointing to a nearby chair.
Heeseung, however, was not one to be easily deterred. With a playful glint in his eye, he reached out and gently pulled you towards him. "Don't be shy," he said, guiding you onto his lap. Your cheeks flushed a deeper shade of pink, and you turned your head away, trying to hide your embarrassment.
Using his index finger, Heeseung gently guided your chin back so that you were looking into his eyes. The intensity of his gaze made your heart skip a beat. "There you are," he whispered, a small smile playing on his lips.
Breaking the moment, you asked, "So, what are you working on?"
"I'm helping to compose a song for the new ENHYPEN album," he replied, his excitement palpable.
"Can I listen to it?" you asked, curiosity piqued.
Heeseung shook his head. "I can't let you hear it yet. It's not allowed."
You pouted, a playful whine escaping your lips. "But I really want to hear it!"
Heeseung chuckled and stroked your hair. "Don't worry, you'll get to hear it once it's released," he reassured you.
You nodded, accepting his answer, and tried to get up from his lap. But before you could move, he pulled you back down and gently removed the elastic from your hair. "Your hair is going haywire," he teased, his fingers deftly working through the tangles.
"I'm not surprised," you muttered, enjoying the sensation of his hands in your hair. Heeseung carefully retied your hair, his touch tender and meticulous. You couldn't help but smile, feeling a sense of warmth and comfort from his actions.
"Better," he said, satisfied with his handiwork. You turned to face him, your smile mirroring his own.
"Thanks," you said softly, leaning in to kiss his cheek. Heeseung's smile widened, and he wrapped his arms around you, pulling you closer.
"You know, I've been thinking," he began, his tone more serious now. "About us, and our future together."
Your heart fluttered at his words. "What about it?"
Heeseung hesitated for a moment, as if choosing his words carefully. "I know we've only been dating for a few months, but I feel like I've known you forever. I can't imagine my life without you."
You felt tears prickling at the corners of your eyes. "I feel the same way," you whispered, your voice choked with emotion.
Heeseung smiled, his eyes shining with sincerity. "Then let's promise to always be there for each other, no matter what."
You nodded, feeling a sense of certainty and happiness wash over you. "I promise."
Heeseung leaned in and pressed a soft, lingering kiss to your lips. As you pulled away, you rested your forehead against his, savoring the closeness and the connection you shared.
Just then, the door to the studio creaked open and Sunghoon peeked in. "Hey, sorry to interrupt, but we need Heeseung for a minute," he said, trying to hide his smirk.
You laughed, pulling away from Heeseung. "I'll let you get back to work," you said, standing up.
Heeseung sighed, clearly reluctant to let you go. "I'll see you later?" he asked, his eyes filled with longing.
"Of course," you replied, giving him one last kiss before heading towards the door. As you left the studio, you couldn't help but feel grateful for the love and the moments you shared with Heeseung. You knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, you would always have each other.
