Long ago, a coven of Witches known as Aurora's Dance, located in the hollows of the Greymoore Mountains. There a village was erected and named Moonlight Hollow, where the coven thrived for thousands of years.
Lady Myst, the leader of the coven stood at the western entrance into her village, with a three horsemen. One of these men held a scroll in his hands and gave it to Lady Myst
"You have two days, witch, dissolve all your coven's magic."
"That is not enough time besides we are the protectors of the realm, the warlocks will take over."
"By decree of King Nemo, you are to dissolve all magic. All the covens in the realm are given two days."
"And if we don't?" she asked
"Death, will be your punishment."
"What about the werewolves?"
"No harm will come to them."
The horsemen turned away to ride home
"My coven will not dissolve our magic, we will not let our magic get into the hands of the evil warlocks." Lady Myst yelled after the men
Lady Myst's daughter Guinevere walked up to her "Mom, is it wise to do this?"
"It is wiser than to give our magic up, my dear."
"What about Fauna's daughter? Fauna already lost Levine not even a week ago, she can't possibly lose her newborn daughter."
"She won't lose her baby, they'll kill us all including the only baby in the coven."
Fauna, who stood not far from her mom and sister gasps "You-" she covers her face as she cries
"Fauna, it's the only way." Lady Myst said "Now let us all go home and pretend nothing happened tonight."
In her home, Fauna held her baby as she rocked her to sleep "Everything will be alright my little Winnie."
Screams and flames erupted in the village, Fauna held her baby close as two men walked down the dirt path leading to her home. Upon entering the house one of the men took the baby from her
"Please don't hurt her, she's a werewolf pup that I'm babysiting." Fauna said
"Do all witches babysit wolfpups?" the man holding the baby asked
"No, just me. I take care and teach all wolfpups. I am babysiting for the Alpha and Luna."
"Frank, take the baby to it's parents. I'll deal with her."
"Make sure to burn all the books and potions, Howie." Frank said
"I'll do that once I'm done."
Frank, walked back down the path to the village where tons of witches laid dead on the ground, blood everywhere. The werewolves were huddled together, protecting all the pups from the scene that had unfolded before them. Luna Anamarie took the baby from Frank
"You and your men have done enough, let us bury the dead." Alpha Evander said, watching his mate kiss the motherless child
"Not until all the witches are dead."
"I can assure you that you have killed them all. You have asked for doom to come to our realm, don't say Lady Myst didn't warn you."
"Since you say we have killed all of the members of Aurora's Dance then I'll gather my men and leave." Frank turned away, gathering the forty men that followed him
After the humans had left all adult werewolves gathered and buried the witches. Luna Anamarie walked up to her mate when he arrived back "Fauna, took so much care of our pups, I wish she could've had the chance to do that to her own."
"We'll take care of Winona, raise her as our own and protect her from the outside world. We can't let anyone outside of our pack know of the last remaining witch in the realm."
