Senior friend zone (Madmakz)

Yunah's Pov

I can't lie even though I'm a senior for her I think my heart flutters whenever I'm around Iroha, I'm in Senior High, almost graduating and she's still in Junior so I'm worried I won't be able to see her when I move out.

Earlier this morning I was just in the cafeteria with my friends Haeun, Jeenie and Nana and they were talking about what were the last things they would do before moving out while I was worried about it, then my friend Jeenie snapped her finger Infront of my face which made me come back to my senses they looked at me confused and suddenly Haeun asked me,

"Why are you looking worried Yunah?"while her hands was patting my shoulder.

"Oh it's nothing, I was just looking at something." I replied while sipping my iced coffee.

"Really?" Nana asked, "Or is it Iroha you're looking at?" She even added.

"What?! No!" I said and hit the table.

They were shocked, few people also looked at me including Iroha.

Gosh~

I just smiled and sipped my coffee again because of the embarrassment, But my friends just smirked and looked at each other,

"You know yunah your gay ass knows there's alot of girls you can find in the campus, but you chose Iroha who is a Junior? You seriously need to calm down." Jeenie said while munching on her donut.

"Right? You don't even know if Iroha likes someone who is older than her." Nana added.

"Well, trust us Yunah, she might either friend zone you or dump you." Haeun said.

"Well I hope neither of them." I replied to them.

I can't deny my feelings for her, Haeun might be right though, but I should tell her what I feel, be friend zoned is the best out of the choices but I hope for the better.

*Time Skip*

3 days before graduation and I've planned it, I'm going to tell her what I feel but before all of that I asked my friends what I should do and tell her,

"Well You should just be prepared mentally cause I know you're really emotional so if she doesn't like you; you won't feel really sad." Nana told me.

"I think you should bring her something nice and say everything you want to say her before you move out cause it's the only time you can tell her about it." Jeenie said.

"Tell her how you feel and don't feel too sad if she doesn't like you back atleast you've told her what you wanted to say." Haeun told me.

I'm really thankful for my supportive friends but I felt kinda nervous.

It was time I brought her snacks and a shirt with her favorite color, mint, I was so nervous that my shirt felt so tight I saw Iroha waiting for me outside the campus, she looked cute far away, I mean she always does look cute,

I called out to her and approached, she turned her head around me and smiled, I melted, how was I supposed to tell her this?

But I calmed myself down and handed her the snacks and shirt while closing my eyes cause I'm nervous,

I heard her giggle and felt her warm hand touch mine, my cheeks suddenly turned cherry red and I closed my eyes even more,

"Senior Yunah, Why are you closing your eyes?" She said to me warmly.

I opened my eyes carefully and saw her face was a little close to me, I snapped and jumped away, she looked confused but burst out laughing,

"Never knew you look so cute senior Yunah." She said while smiling at me.

"Uhm thanks..." I replied.

What am I going to say now...

"Uhh is this why you wanted to meet me Senior? Thanks!" She said while raising her hand cutely.

"Actually as you know graduation is in 3 days and I want to say something to you..."

"What is it?"

"I like you!" My voice echoed through the empty halls, while Iroha was standing there confused.

"Ohh." she muttered, "Do you really like me Senior?" She asked me,

"Yes!, Please don't say no!"

Stupid Noh Yunah!!! What are you saying?!!

She giggled and replied,

"Senior Yunah, I won't say no."

"Really?" I quickly lift my head up.

"But.... I'm straight....., and I'm focusing on my studies..."

"Oh..."

"But I'll be happy to be friends with you!"
She said and held my hand.

Dang, Haeun you're right again, I'm Friend Zoned...

"That's fine..., I think I'll see you!.."

I walked out in sadness but I kinda felt bad for leaving her there without reason,

*Time Skip*

Finally Graduation day, I kinda feel fine now after all of those drama, I wasn't really expecting someone else on that day except my friends and parents, but when I was called out on the stage I saw a familiar shape in the crowd clapping and cheering for me,

Iroha...

When the event was done me and my friends jumped around together and took pictures,

"Congratulations everyone!" Nana yelled.

"Good bye senior hello college" I said while my friends were pointing at my parents saying they were calling me,

So I ran to my parents and hugged them tightly, they congratulated me and gave me a box of my favorite snack, I really love my parents but then I saw someone calling out to me,

And It was Iroha, She was wearing the shirt I gave her, it fit her so well she's so cute, I approached her and she congratulated me,

"Congratulations Senior Yunah, I supposed so I can attend to your special day right?"

"Right, thanks for coming Iroha!"

She smiled at me looking so proud, I felt warm around her so I couldn't miss that moment to hug her, she hugged me back tightly and I can feel tears running down my cheeks,

"Thank you so much Iroha, Sadly we won't be able to spend more time together, but please contact me whenever you need to." I said to her while sniffling.

She giggled and wiped my tears,

"I'm really sorry about what happened the past few days Senior-"

"Yunah" I cut her out, "Call me Yunah"

"I'm sorry Yunah, and yeah I will surely contact you." She replied while raising her hand again.

But then I saw my friends calling for me so I said goodbye to Iroha but then she stopped me,

"Ah Yunah!" She called out and leaned closer she kissed me on the cheek which me blush so hard so I covered my face and ran away and said bye again,

Then once I reached to my friends all of them including my parents were teasing me but I like it...

Being friend zoned is actually not that bad I'll just respect her choice and like her secretly.
