Meeting the sisters

Judy Hopps is a mammal of habit every morning she wakes up puts on her uniform and starts her morning with a coffee before heading into precinct 1, however her schedule this particular morning was very different . Judy awoke to her alarm clock as usual and opened her eyes to look around her apartment ''oh yeah '' she thinks i moved into nicks apartment a week ago'' she looked around her new bedroom (which was beside nicks) and sighed " i have a long day ahead" she voiced her thoughts . every since nick had told her about his tragic past she'd suggest that he try to reconnect to his remaining family . she recalled the fateful day Nick told her about his past. they had been sitting in their police cruiser doing a stake out for hours and the there's been no sign of the prep yet . " Judy there's something i need to tell you ."nick said . his usual charm missing. "Oh god what you do this time ?" Judy asked in a suspicious tone. "nothing bad. it's just that since were a couple now there's something you should know about my past "Judy gave him that " i'm here for you " look that he'd first seen when he told her about the muzzle incident. he continued with a lump in his throat "my dad left my mom when found out she was pregnant they had only been married a couple months and he said he wasn't ready for kids so he just left" Nick said not realizing he'd been crying. "so my mom raised me my little sister all by herself. "he said not looking in Judy's eyes "nick u have siblings ?" Judy asked , her voice sounding sad. " my mom died when i was 14. "Nick continued looking out his window of the cruiser. "Terminal cancer" he whispered just loud enough for judys ears to pick up "me and my sisters didn't want to go into foster care so we ran away. "he said it was dumb i know but i was 14 and scared. Judy saw the hurt look in his eyes and it broke her heart. "Nick i know this is hard for you. thank you for telling me. "she continued "what happened to your sisters "i don't know. i don't know we parted ways and all decided that we that we would change our names when we were old enough for safety reasons. "Nick looked at Judy and finished I never had the heart to change mt last name. and i haven't heard from them since we were 14. "just gasped at this "Nick contact them. " and that's how we got to where we are now. " NICK WAKE UP !" Judy yelled knowing her dumb fox wasn't up yet. she walked into his room to find him snoring rolled over on his side with his covers from his bed of the floor "ugh. how can anyone be this messy ?" she pondered out loud before  jumping onto Nick's bed and violently shaking him "jeez carrots you're going to break all my ribs then how will you ever manage to live with yourself?" Nick yawned and got on his feet giving her his wining smirk "today's the day huh fluff?" He said noticing the gentle look in her eyes "yes how are you  feeling?" Judy asked still sitting on his  bed watching his eyes turn from sad to his usual joking manner. "I'm ok fluff . why don't  you go ahead and take your shower and ill take mine after breakfast?" he asked walking  towards his bedroom door so he could go make breakfast."  "okay" Judy smiled at him. flash forward an hour later Nick and Judy are almost to the airport so that they could meet up with Nick's sibling's "u know i just realized  you never told me your sister's names." Judy told Nick in a soft voice  "Oh yeah there names are Skye and  Diane. "he said handing her his phone  she. Judy looked to see two pictures, one of a Smiling artic vixen and the other of a red fox much like Nick but she was to tall and she looked to be on a red carpet." Nick why is the second one oh a red carpet? Judy asked in a confused tone" dunno fluff after me and Diane got in contact she said it be better to catch up in person." Nick said pulling in a parking spot. "you ready?" he smirked "dumb fox, you act as if you don't even know me! "Judy gasped acting offended "you should know this stupidly brave rabbit is ready to try evreything. "she played along with a giggle.  they made there way into the airport to find all kinds of mammals getting on and of planes. "Nick is that you?" a voice asked sounding shocked "DIANE!" Nick yelled, rushing over and pulling her into a hug  "look at you you're so big now !" Nick said sounding happier then just had ever heard him wolf come over here! "Diane invited a wolf in the corner wearing a nervous expression. you must be my sister's boyfriend." Nick smiled in a knowing smirk "you're okay with being inters/" the wolf asked "i know its generally looked down upon zootopia. "the wolf avoiding eye contact "actually" Nick smiled at the wolf who looked to be his age  "im a inter myself." Nick said gesturing towards Judy who was still sitting  on a  bench near the plane Diane and wolf had gotten off of  "oh um hi my names Judy Hopps me and Nick have been dating a couple months now and were partners  at Zootopia's  precinct 1 " your a fox police officer in zootopia?" Diane asked remembering how harsh had been to foxes when she lived there. oh yeah i am ." Nick smiled " so where have u been hiding all these years ?" he asked "California" she replied with humans ?"Nick asked in a almost disgusted tone.  "their  actually not so bad." Diane gigged  thinking of how her brother would react to this next part "I'm even the governor there ." she beamed proudly " Omg REALLY?!" a voice from behind replied Diane looked up to see a fairly artic  vixen looking at them." Skye?" Diane asked with a glossy look in her eyes "yep how have ya been?" she asked in a British accent. " what the-" Nick was cut of by Skye's voice "i moved to England after... you know." Skye said sounding a little down "anyway i then adapted a British  accent." flash Forword 20 min the gang are all at a restaurant grabbing some lunch " so how did you guys and jack meet?" Skye looking towards Nick and Judy then towards her boyfriend jack savage  "some time back before Nick  and Judy started dating right  after Nick became a cop the LBI back in Londen needed to team up with the ZPD for a case and i got assigned to work with Nick and Judy and we've been friends ever since. "Jack smiled towards Nick. "and me and you became partners about 2 months afterward. "Jack said just then Judy's phone started playing her ringtone (We are by Kari Jobe) started playing. "huh? its chief Judy said. "yes sir?" Judy answered  politely. "Hopps i know its your day off. but we need you and Wilde to check  something out, the rest of the precinct is busy. " Bogo said in his usual grumpy  voice. yes sir what do we need to do?" Judy said earning her glare from Nick ( which resulted in a punch in the ribs for him ) " we got a call from the Zootopia meadowlands college of science " he continued " it appears the professor working in the science lab was kicked out by a ram and is now locked out and the criminal is still inside, the scientist is unsure if he is armed or not Bogo summed up. "we can be there in uh.." Judy glanced at her watch " 15 minutes?" she said making sure to glance at everyone. she then hung up. " looks like you guys are going on a ride in the police cruiser. " Judy said. " "what?" Diane asked with an  eyebrow  raised "chief buffalo butt needs us?" Nick asked Judy. "yep ill explain on the way." Judy replied one uncomfortable packed ride later ( im not going to say what happens in the ride and just skip to the good part) " ZPD OPEN UP!" she yelled with authority. hmm how about no." a voice with a british accent replied open up now this is your last chance!' Jack yelled the gang waited a few moments "im going in." Nick said Nick then kicked down the door with force surprising Diane and Wolf. AUUUUUUGH!'
