A/N I'm in a VERY dramatic mood

TW: quite a few ig but I'm not gonna put them because I don't want to spoil it so don't read if it could be triggering

"Tay! I'm leaving!" Travis called up the stairs to his girlfriend who was currently getting ready in the bathroom.
"Okay, love you!" She shouted back. The door shut with a thud, and Taylor was left alone in the silence of their house. Travis has set off to go to Jason's house, as he hadn't seen them in a while. Taylor was invited too, but had an interview scheduled for later in the day, so they decided they would do something altogether another time.

Travis had been gone for about half an hour, and Taylor was just putting her mascara on, when her phone started ringing. She picked it up, expecting for it to be Travis or Tree, but instead the contact read Jason. That was odd- he never called her.

"Hey" she greeted him with a smile as she held the phone up to her ear.
"Um, Taylor" Jason took a shaky breath. Taylor could tell immediately that something was wrong.
"What is it? What happened?" she asked frantically, immediately panicking.
"You need to come to the hospital" Jason replied, his voice cracking.
"Why? What happened?" Taylor worried, grabbing her car keys and phone. There wasn't enough time for her to call security.
"You- you can find out when you get here" Jason was scared she would do something reckless, so decided not to tell her how bad it was until she arrived.

Taylor set off in her car, her phone on the seat next to her. Worry clouded her vision as she raced to the hospital, probably breaking lots of road laws. But that didn't matter. She needed to get to Travis.

"I'm here, where is he?" she burst into the waiting room, breathless. Jason and Donna were sat to the side, tear streaks evident on both their cheeks as they clutched eachothers hands. Slowly, Jason stood up, letting go of Donnas hand and making his way over too a shaking Taylor. He led her to a seat, and she sat. He took her hand in his and took a deep breath.
"Taylor, Travis got into a car accident" a singular tear rolled down his cheek. "He's in surgery, on his brain. They think he has a brain bleed. His chances of survival are very low." Jason exhaled a shaky breath as the woman infront of him fell apart.
"No" she whispered, burying her head in her hands. "No no no no no no" Jason placed a hand comfortingly on her shoulder as Donna pulled the sobbing girl into her arms, rubbing her back as tears poured down her own cheeks.

"Travis Kelce?" The ginger doctor asked, stepping into the room. The trio stood up, wiping their eyes. The doctor came over to them, a slight smile on his face. "The surgery went through with flying colours. He will most likely be perfectly fine. You may come and see him now- he is awake" The family started crying happy tears, leaning on each other for support.

Donna entered his room first, whilst the other two waited outside to give them some privacy. Next Jason went, then finally Taylor.

She entered the room, nervous for what she was about to be greeted with. Travis was sat in a bed in the middle of the room connected to various machines, a bandage around his head.
"Hey baby" he said, his voice gravelly. Immediately Taylor started crying, as she sat in the chair next to him.
"Aw don't cry baby" Travis cooed, kissing her hand.
"I thought I had lost you" Taylor let out, inbetween sobs. Travis squeezed her hand and leant closer into her, lowering his voice.

"You will never loose me, I will always be with you, forever. I promise. Do you promise that you will always be here too?" He asked, gazing into her eyes lovingly.

" I promise "

2 months later

"I'm gonna head out, call me if you need anything" Travis kissed Taylor on the cheek as she stirred the sauce on the stove.
"Make sure you're back in time for dinner" she replied, with a smile, and was met by a nod.
"Love you!" Travis called, before slamming the door. He was just heading to the shops so wasn't going to be too long.
