First day as a queen is so... Let's just say hard.
Jewel had been on her office lately, full of paperworks, focused much of the upcoming welcome party for her new team who some of the previous members of team cyan is still intact while the others were either left for good or left behind by their former mentor or guide, Sir Jaybee. A lot of things happened before, betrayal, war, fake love, stalking. You name it. Although, she finally moved on and decided to focus more on the present.
The missing of the former queen, Janet Liddell, somehow affected her too. Janet is just her alter ego or a clone of hers who she used for three years of her life. Both Jewel and Janet are connected to one another, this may lead Jewel to use Janet as a decoy while she's hiding in the shadows, waiting for the right time to shine.
But now, since Janet is confirmed "missing", Jewel emerges from the shadows and decided to take her twin's role. At least, until they find Janet.
Sleep deprived yet still focused, Jewel read several papers and parchments and oftenly signs them when there is. More focused on the work, she didn't heard a knock on her office door. Once the third and final knock is over, the door opens and reveals Trixie, the only daughter of Yang Xiao Long and Blake Belladonna-Xiao Long, enters the office. Trixie sighed, she knew Jewel is trying her best to stay on the line as a queen, but she couldn't help but to feel worried at her too.
"Sleep deprived, I see?" Trixie spoke up as she crossed her arms and leaned in the doorway, causing Jewel to snap back to reality and look at Trixie with a tried look. "You know, if I were you, I would take a long nap." She said.
Jewel placed her pen down at the table, rubbing her tiring eyes before replying, "I'm fine, I just need to sign the rest of the papers then I'm done." Trixie shakes her head, smiling, "That's a lie." She said, unfolding her arms and walked towards Jewel's table.
The queen herself protested, "Trix, you don't have to baby me, I'm okay. I just need to finish this." This make Trixie reply, "Jewel, hermana, I know you really wanted to finish your shits and suff but I assure you, you still have few more days to finish it before the final deadline." Trixie reassured her sister, knowing Jewel is in under pressure.
"You need rest, hermana. You can finish it tomorrow." Trixie said worriedly.
Jewel thought for her sister's offer for a little while before sighing and gave up, "Fine. I'll rest. But I have to finish this tomorrow." She gave Trixie a stern glare before standing up and stretching herself. Trixie just chuckled at Jewel's threat before accompanied Jewel to her quarters.
At the quarters, Jewel sat down on her bed, "I'll be okay, hermana. You should rest too after your day." Jewel assured Trixie, the raven haired girl nodded, patting the queen's shoulder, "Okay, if you need anything, I'm always here, hermana." Jewel nodded at Trixie's offer before the two share a "goodnight" and her sister left the quarters, leaving Jewel all alone.
She changed into her nightgown, then fall into her bed and snuggled in its soft pillows, the bed's warmth sents the young queen to a deep sleep.

NOT BECAUSE WE ALWAYS FIGHT BUT WE ALSO ACT LIKE A REAL FAMILY, AS IF THEY ARE MY SECOND FAMILY TOO. IT'S SO SAD TO SEE THAT SOME OF THEM WILL LEAVE OR SOME OF THEM WON'T MAKE IT TO THE 4TH YEAR (GRADE 10) OR SOME OF THEM ARE GOING TO BE SETTLED DOWN IN OTHER SECTIONS. BUT STILL, I'M HAPPY THAT THEY'RE APART OF MY LIFE NOW, ESPECIALLY OUR ADVISER, SIR GINO RAY RAIZ HIMSELF.
