“So, you have been ordered to go to America tomorrow?” Sebastian asked as he sat down beside her on the stairs. The two were in front of the manor gate. Isabella didn’t want to see Ciel at the moment. She sighed deeply, looking out at the darkening sky.

“Yeah. I tried to be rebellious, but to no avail. I’m afraid that if I go there, something bad might happen. I know you're strong, but... I want to be there when Ciel needs me,” she confessed, her voice tinged with worry.

"America... If she goes there... I think I won't like it," he thought, his mind filled with apprehension.

Sebastian and Isabella were quiet for a moment, just staring at the sky. They seemed lost in thought, contemplating the vastness above them.

"Sebastian, please don't mention my visit to Ciel. I'd prefer he didn't worry about me," her tone pleading as she glance at him.

"I understand, Your Grace," Sebastian replied, his tone respectful. "What are your plans now?" he inquired, his voice soft with concern.

Isabella laughed, "Am I hearing this correctly? Is Sebastian Michaelis actually worried about me right now?" she suggested with a teasing tone.

Isabella was right. Sebastian was a demon, bound by contract to Ciel Phantomhive. His primary concern should be his young master. But this woman, she somehow managed to stir something unexpected within him, something that defied his usual obligations.

"I am not," he countered gently. "It's just that you are my young master's dear friend, the only one he's truly comfortable with. If I don't accommodate your wishes, what kind of butler would I be?" he explained, his voice sincere.

"That's right," she quipped, a playful glint in her eye. "For a second there, I thought you were starting to like me," she teased, her smile mischievous.

Sebastian couldn't deny it to himself. He had begun to feel strange emotions from the moment he first met her. He was intrigued by her presence, feeling sensations that should have been impossible for a demon like him. He found himself inexplicably drawn to her, despite his nature dictating otherwise.

"Sebastian?" she questioned, noticing the subtle shift in his demeanor.

Sebastian cleared away his thoughts and forced a smile. "I could say that you're being delusional, Your Grace," he said smoothly, masking any trace of his inner turmoil.

Isabella laughed, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

"My, my. This is the first time someone has accused me of being delusional," she remarked with a chuckle, her tone light-hearted.

Sebastian laughed along with her, though inwardly he found it unusual. Laughing with a human was a rarity for someone like him, considering his disdain for humans.

"Anyway, thank you for listening, Sebastian," she said gratefully. "I feel better now," she added, a sense of relief evident in her voice.

"I am glad that I could be of service, Your Grace," he replied respectfully, his demeanor returning to its usual composed state.

"Well, I better go," Isabella said as she stood up and brushed off the dust from her cloak. Sebastian nodded in acknowledgment.

"What's your plan now, Your Grace? Will you be heading to America as your superior asked you to?" he inquired politely.

"No!" she grinned defiantly, her rebellious attitude shining through. "I will stay here in England and be with Ciel," she declared with determination.

She put her hand on her waist and looked at Sebastian with resolve. "I already have a plan. And hopefully, this will work," she stated confidently.

Sebastian felt a wave of relief wash over him as she returned to her usual demeanor. He nodded approvingly, impressed by her determination.

Sebastian bowed his head respectfully as she departed, silently acknowledging her farewell.

The next day...

As Ciel was about to enter the carriage, the sound of approaching hoofbeats caught his attention. He already knew who it was.

"Good morning, Ciel!" Isabella's voice rang out as she arrived, her presence bringing a sense of familiarity and energy to the scene.

She dismounted from her horse and approached him. Sebastian greeted her with a bow.

"Good morning, Your Grace," he said respectfully, his demeanor poised and attentive as always.

"Good morning, Sebastian," she greeted with a warm smile, acknowledging his presence with a nod.

Isabella glanced back at Ciel. "Going somewhere?" she inquired, her curiosity evident in her tone.

Ciel nodded and showed her a letter. She stared at it, and her eyes widened at the sight of the stamp in the center—a stamp belonging to Queen Victoria. She gasped softly, a mixture of surprise and intrigue evident in her expression.

A few hours later, they arrived at the town house located in London. The streets of London were bustling with activity, as usual, with crowds of people going about their day.

"Good grief, London is so crowded," Ciel remarked with a hint of exasperation as he descended from the carriage. Isabella followed behind, holding Sebastian's hand as he reached out to assist her.

They ascended the stairs together, Sebastian leading the way with Isabella and Ciel close behind.

"It's the social period when the noblemen move from the provincial manor houses to the town houses in London, after all," Sebastian remarked as he reached the top of the stairs and opened the door for them.

"Well, I hope you can have some quiet rest, Ciel," Isabella said with concern, her voice softening as she glanced at him.

As they ascended the stairs inside, Sebastian drew near to her and whispered, "Since you're here, does that mean you're not going anymore?" he inquired softly, curiosity lacing his words.

"Not anymore," she confirmed with a smile, her gaze meeting Sebastian's.

Sebastian felt relieved. He smiled subtly, grateful for her decision.

When Sebastian open another door towards the lounge room, they were surprised to see two individuals. Madame Red— who is in the middle of searching for tea. And Lau, whose looking inside a vase.

Truly, it was another peaceful day.
