Maddie knew how her life had changed. And she had now transitioned into a vampire. She wanted to make Elena and Damon pay.

She didn't want her life to be like this. But the only thing she was thankful for, was that she now had a lifetime with Elijah.

Maddie's transition had been hard. She had found herself craving blood. Elijah had been her rock. He had been there to help her with the cravings.

Maddie had been slowly adjusting to the change. And she felt like things were either about to get better or worse for her. She knew all too well how she was set on revenge. Knowing that her own sister had caused all of this. And Damon. Damon was the main one she wanted to suffer.

He was the one that killed her. And she wasn't going to let him get away with it. She was going to take the one thing that mattered most to him. Elena. She didn't care if Elena was her own sister.

Elijah walked into the bedroom and saw Maddie sitting on the bed in his shirt and a pair of shorts. He sat with her. "Madeline?"

"My life is changing now. Isn't it?"

Elijah nodded. "You didn't have to do this. I would have survived."

Maddie shook her head and smiled. "The way I look at it, we have a lifetime together now. And I want to be with you for as long as I live. But for certain I do want Elena and Damon to pay."

"And they will my love. I will see to it," Elijah told her. He kissed the top of her head.

"I want to be the one who makes them pay. This has to be me. No one else," Maddie said.

Stefan walked into the Gilbert house. Elena was there. She looked to him and frowned. "What?" She asked.

"Maddie transitioned. She's a vampire now," Stefan told her. He sighed. "I'm guessing Damon didn't take into consideration that she is bff with Klaus now. Or maybe our own sister gave her blood."

Elena shook her head. "I need to speak to Maddie. To tell her how sorry I am. I need to do this," she said as she looked to him.

"You can't. You go anywhere near the Mikaelson mansion, and they'll tear you apart."

"She's my sister Stefan. I need to tell her that I'm sorry," Elena said.

"No."

Maddie looked up to see Lily as she walked into the room. She smiled to her. "How you feeling?" Lily asked.

"Like I was dead."

Lily blinked to her. "You're not funny Madeline. You don't know how scary it was to see you there. Not breathing or anything."

Maddie smiled. She nodded. "I can understand that. But I'm okay. It's hard for me to adjust. But I'm getting there. I feel okay. And now none of you have to plan my funeral when I'm old and grey," she joked.

Lily rolled her eyes. "Amazing. I love how you're making this into a joking situation. I need to ask you something. Had Damon not pushed you, would you have let Elijah change you?" She asked.

Maddie shrugged. She looked to her and sighed. "I don't know if I'm being honest. I hadn't given it much thought. I know that I won't ever be in love with anyone again. Which sounds stupid when you think about it. I haven't known him that long. And already I'm in love with him."
