Title: The CEO's Silent Stand

The tension in the air was palpable as Jungkook entered their home office, leaving Y/N standing in the doorway of the dining room. She watched him disappear into the room, feeling a mixture of frustration and concern swirling within her. Jungkook had been pushing himself to the limit lately, consumed by the demands of his new project. And despite her efforts to support him, it seemed like he was slipping further away with each passing day.

"Jungkook, please," Y/N called after him, her voice tinged with desperation. "You need to eat something."

But her pleas fell on deaf ears as Jungkook continued on his path, his mind seemingly fixated on the endless stream of tasks awaiting him. With a heavy sigh, Y/N felt a surge of anger bubbling up inside her. She couldn't understand how he could neglect his own well-being like this.

"You know what, Jungkook?" she finally burst out, her voice laced with frustration. "You can't keep doing this to yourself. And you certainly can't keep ignoring me!"

Jungkook paused in his tracks, turning to face her with a furrowed brow. "What are you talking about, Y/N?"

"What am I talking about?" Y/N retorted, her anger boiling over. "I'm talking about the fact that you're working yourself to the bone, and for what? So you can come home late every night and refuse to even sit down for dinner with your own wife?"

Jungkook's expression softened slightly, but there was still a hint of defensiveness in his eyes. "I'm sorry, Y/N. I know I've been preoccupied lately, but this project is important. I need to give it my all."

"And what about your health?" Y/N countered, her voice trembling with emotion. "What good is this project if it's costing you your well-being?"

Before Jungkook could respond, Y/N turned on her heel and stormed out of the room, her heart heavy with disappointment. She made her way to the guest room, her mind racing with thoughts of what to do next. She couldn't just stand by and watch Jungkook destroy himself like this. Something had to change.

The next morning, Y/N made a decision. She would reclaim her position as CEO of the company, a role she had set aside after her marriage to Jungkook. With determination coursing through her veins, she reached for her phone and dialed her sister's number.

"Lisa, I need your help," Y/N said, her voice steady despite the turmoil raging within her. "I want to return to the company."

Three days passed in silence between Jungkook and Y/N, each moment weighed down by the weight of their unspoken words. Jungkook couldn't shake the guilt that gnawed at him, knowing that he had hurt the person he loved most in the world. He had to make things right.

As the fourth day dawned, Jungkook resolved to apologize to Y/N, to beg for her forgiveness and promise to do better. But when he emerged from his bedroom, he found the house eerily quiet, Y/N's presence conspicuously absent.

Confusion clouded Jungkook's mind as he made his way to the dining table, where a note awaited him, written in Y/N's familiar script.

Breakfast is in the fridge, the note read, its words like a punch to the gut for Jungkook. He had let things spiral out of control, and now he was paying the price.

At the office, Jungkook's nerves were frayed as he awaited the arrival of the other company's CEO for the biggest meeting of his career. His mind raced with thoughts of Y/N, wondering where she was and if she was okay.

And then, she walked through the door, her expression cold and unreadable as she took her seat at the head of the table. Jungkook's heart skipped a beat as he realized the truth: Y/N was the CEO.

The meeting proceeded with tense efficiency, each word weighed down by the weight of their shared history. Jungkook poured his heart and soul into his presentation, his fear of rejection looming large in his mind.

But when the moment of truth arrived, Y/N surprised him with her decision. She accepted the offer, not because of his hard work, but because she believed in him, in them.

Back at home, Y/N finally revealed the truth to Jungkook, laying bare her reasons for leaving and her decision to return to the company. Jungkook listened, his heart heavy with regret and longing for the future they could build together.

"I'm so sorry, Y/N," Jungkook said, his voice choked with emotion. "I promise to take better care of myself from now on. And I want you to know that I support you in whatever you choose to do."

Y/N smiled, her eyes shining with love and forgiveness. "I know you do, Jungkook. And I support you too."

As they embraced, their love stronger than ever, Jungkook vowed to cherish every moment they shared, to prioritize their happiness above all else. And Y/N knew that together, they could weather any storm that came their way.
