The Snake King

The Destiny's Bounty passes a mountain as the Postman, on a bicycle with improvised wings emerges above from the clouds, holding a parcel.

"Wait! Slow down! I have a package for Sensei Wu!" The Postman yelled, panting.

Author: Honestly, this guy needs a raise.

Inside the Bounty, Lloyd is talking to the ninja and Nya at the dinner table.

"First, I'll stomp on his tail. Then when he turns, a thunder clap to his ears. Then when he's stunned, I'll disarm him." Lloyd says, smirking.

"Too late, he's already hypnotized you and now you're under his control." Cole comments.

"Or he's already put you in a squeeze." Zane adds.

Kai chimes in. "Or spit on you with his hallucinatory venom. Trust me, bad stuff."

Lloyd groans. "Uncle, what's the best way to stun a Serpentine if you don't know what kind they are?" He asked Wu, who not too long ago entered the room.

"Sadly, it was the Sacred Flute you five carelessly lost." Wu says.

"Hey, no, no, no, we didn't lose it. Pythor stole it." Jay defended.

"Or rather, we were unprepared." Akira sighs.

Wu pours himself tea. "Whatever the case, without it I fear we have nothing to combat their powers. We may have prevented them from uniting in the past, but they will try again, and one day they will be stronger."

"Don't worry. I've almost reached my Full Potential, and when I become the Green Ninja, we're not gonna need any magic flute." Cole says in confidence.

Akira groans as she rubs her temples. "Not this again."

"You're gonna be the Green Ninja?" Kai laughs. "Don't make me laugh."

"I thought it was decided that I was destined to become the Green Ninja." Zane says.

Jay puts a hand on his shoulder. "Oh! The only thing decided about you, Zane, is that you're weird."

The four started to argue between one another.

"Does this happen often?" Lloyd asked Akira.

"Yes. Yes, it does." Akira hands him a chocolate chip cookie which he accepts.

Lloyd takes a bite, humming in delight as he makes his way towards his uncle. "What's in the box?"

"Your new uniforms." Wu says as he opens the box, sliding it towards the ninja.

"Whoa! They've got, like, armor." Jay awed.

"I love the gold highlights." Kai compliments.

"Battle claws!" Cole exclaimed.

"The material is really light and breathable." Zane points out.

"Loving the dark shades." Akira cooed.

"Oh, nothing for me?" Lloyd asked in disappointment.

"Um, you get, uh, the box." Wu pushed the box towards him.

Lloyd frowns in disappointment.

"That's low, Sensei. Even for you." Akira comments.

Suddenly, the alarm turns off.

Everyone quickly got up from their seat and rushed towards the bridge. As they entered, Cole went up to the radar map and presses a button, causing the monitor to zoom in.

"Sorry to break up the moment, guys, but a small faction of our slithering friends are stirring up trouble at Mega Monster Amusement Park." Cole says.

Lloyd perks up. "Amusement park? Can I go? Can I go with you, please? Let me make things up. I can help." He begs them.
