"jaane kyun
dil ye jaanta hai
tu hai toh
I'll be alright"

Noor's pov:-

Waking up early I did my morning routine and after having my breakfast, I left for office. Today we have meeting at my office. Mr. Rathore's business partners would also be joining us today as they hold shares in their jewellery lane. By partners I mean Ekansh Mittal, Neil Khanna and Ranvijay Rajput. I quickly grabbed my bag and left for office early as I have to look after the preperations.

As I entered the building I was greeted with some chaos. Moving forward I saw Ruhi consoling a crying Anaya and someone shouting at Anaya. As I moved closer, I saw Shefali, an intern. Well she's a daughter of some rich businessman but due to her behaviour, her father asked her to earn on her own. She was rejected by many companies and we were also about to reject because of her overconfidence but she was good at her work. Her father asked her not to reveal about her background as it can harm his image. But why is she shouting? As I rushed towards crying Anaya, I heard Shefali saying "She has no work like she's always present in our office and orders us as if we're her servants. If she wants to do that, she can just go to her father's office or wait did your father kicked you out because of the way your engagement broke off last year. You were the dinner table conversation dude. And your father's right only, who would keep such a characterless girl- " "MS. ARORA MIND YOUR TONGUE WHEN YOU SPEAK TO MY COLLEAGUES" I roared at her.

I glanced at crying Anaya again. Harr jagah bol leti hai bas logo ko ulta suna nahi sakti. Idiot.

"You got no right to disrespect her, Ms. Arora. Don't forget who's she. She's here because she holds shares in this firm not because she likes to waste her time on people like you. And you don't get the right to go and start speaking shit about her background and her past. If she starts revealing who she actually is then trust me it'll be very bad for you. And also Ms. Arora jinki ghar khud sheeshey ke rehte vo dusro ke gharo par patthar nahi fekte. Other people might not know why you're here but we definitely know so mind your language while talking to my colleagues not only her but any of them. Please visit the HR to collect your termination letter. I can forgive you for doubting Ms. Malhotra's qualifications but tainting someone's character at this place is not at all acceptable. This workplace isn't for guys like you. Please collect your termination letter." I spoke in a firm voice. Nai matlab koi kuch bhi bolta rahega aur hum sunte rahenge? I don't care if she's daughter of some big businessman or not, working at SITARA means everyone is equal.

"Guys back to work." I said and signalled HR head for the termination letter. I glanced at my friends and saw Anaya who was now okay and Ruhi who was looking proud. I asked them to move to my cabin.

As I turned to look at other employees, I saw a figure leaning a little against the wall amd also few men with him. Ofcourse he was Avyaansh Singh Rathore but what is he doing here right now? I moved towards them to greet them.

"Mr. Rathore pleasure to meet you again. But what are you doing here right now I mean the meeting was scheduled for after an hour so.." I asked to clear my confusion.

"Well good morning to you too Ms. Kapoor. Here, they are my business partners and friends, Neil Khanna, Ekansh Mittal and Ranvijay Rajput." He said introducing them and I shook hands with them professionally.

"Hello gentlemen, it's good to have you here." I said to them politely. "Well it's our pleasure to get a chance to talk to a beauty like you." Neil Khanna said flirting. I laughed at his comment. And wait I swear I saw Mr. Rathore glaring at his friend but why would he.

"And about your question, Ms. Ahuja asked us to visit early due to some paperwork." Mr. Rathore said clearing his throat.

"Ohh okay let guide you to the conference hall" I said showing them the way.

His friends entered first. Him amd I were about to enter when he turned. "We saw what happened. You can go check up on your friends, we'll be okay by then." He said in a soft tone. "Uhh.. I..-" I tried to deny. "No need we'll be okay, she needs you." He said cutting me off. I gave him a thankful nod and went towards my cabin.

I saw laughing Anaya whose eyes were red which means she was crying again but Ruhi would have made her laugh. "Are you out of your mind Anaya. Why-" I was gonna scold her when she hugged me tightly. "I know what you want you say but please dont." She said and I knew I shouldn't say whatever I was gonna say.

"Why won't she?" Ruhi said in a stern voice. "Was it your fault if that asshole chosen by your bua was a drug addict and manwhore and a gambler? If it wasn't your fault then why do you still listen to these type of shit. I would have given a befitting reply to that bitch if you were not crying like an idiot outside. Tujhe sambhaalu yaa usko gaaliyaan du." Ruhi scolded Anaya in a soft tone.

"And don't cry as if you were in love with that asshole. Pata nahi kyu kar rahi thi usse shaadi. Marr thodi gaye the saare achhe ladke." I said making her chuckle. An year back, Anaya was about to get married to some guy who was chosen by her bua but a week before their wedding, Uncle, Anaya's father caught him gambling. After inquiring much about him, we got to know he was a gambler, drug addict and a manwhore as well. The guy was Anaya's bua's bestfriend's son. Her bua was ashamed of the fact that she chose this guy. She didn't knew that the boy was not what she expected. Her bestfriend fed her lies so that she could be atleast called some relatives of Malhotras.

"Well guys, Mr. Rathore and his business partners are her already. Let's go. Anaya face thik karke aa apna bhoot lagri." I said as I remembered about them. Ruhi and I left for the conference hall and Anaya towards the washroom but she was looking she was nervous about something. Maybe I was overthinking.
