"Jungwon!"
The school president turned around after hearing his name. He had just left his car, aiming for the school gates. He suppressed the smile, seeing a boy running towards him, with the bag over his head.
"It's pouring! You'll get drenched!" Jay complained trying to cover the boy's head with his backpack.
Jungwon looked around, his brows furrowed. Some students held umbrellas or wore raincoats, while the unlucky ones ran to the entrance to not get completely drenched. Or if you were Jungwon, you didn't know that the rain had been wetting all your clothes.
"I didn't notice," he explained as confused as Jay.
His mind had been absent since that party, the drugs not leaving him in peace.
"Come on, I don't want to get any more wet," Jay said impatiently and grabbed his hand.
He made Jungwon run with him into the school. They passed by a few students, landing their curious eyes on their joint hands, but the school president was too out of it, to notice, and Jay was too himself to care.
They made it inside the building in no time, letting the water drop down on the polished floor. Jay brushed his hair back, glad that he had shielded it from the heavy rain. He chuckled, seeing the other's damp strands of hair.
"Come here," Jay breathed reaching to Jungwon's face.
He gently put the strands out of the boy's forehead. He had noticed Jungwon's lengthy hair, only after tucking it behind his ear. Jay tilted his head, slightly smiling, focused on staring at the boy before him. However, his gaze shifted unconsciously to the side.
Some students were talking with each other and peeking at the two friends at the same time, some were giggling or sending a judging look their way. Jay cleared his throat and took back his hand swiftly, while awkwardly patting Jungwon's shoulder hard twice.
"Can we skip today?" Jungwon asked unaware of the situation behind him. He kept gazing at his shoes solemnly.
"Skip?! You?!" Jay was shocked.
"I cut classes more often than you imagine. If you don't want to, that's fine. I'll just go to my room and sleep." He explained and turned around, ready to go to his dormitory.
"Well, I can only if you help me cover the absence." Jungwon nodded, as if lying wasn't a big deal to him anyway. "Good, where we going now?"
"I'd say my room, but I think Sunoo would be furious if I let you in there without his permission."
"But I entered his house just a few days ago..."
"He's never home, so there is nothing personal in his room. He's got everything here, though." Jungwon explained while walking down the hall. "We could go..."
"Our place?" Jay suggested, running up to the boy. Jungwon peeked at him and smiled.
"Something like that."

"Yang Jungwon's absent?" Junhui asked holding a laptop on her thighs. She looked over her glasses to look at her students' faces and went back to the screen. She left a mark unchecked and moved on to the next student.
When she was done checking the list, she closed the device and stood up.
"As you know. We'll be holding a Christmas special along with the Music major." She held her arms behind her back. "It's the last, very important show you gotta pull out before the end of your education here. It's not gonna be all love and family jingle bells. There are sponsors, there are choreographers. Don't treat it like a dry run before the graduation show, because it's the first impressions that are the most important."
