Yay. Every girls dream, a football match. Not! Well, today I've been dragged along to the Arsenal v Manchester United match... Yes, that's right. I've been dragged from my home in Manchester all the way to the Emirates stadium to watch a sport I do not enjoy in the slightest. I've travelled up with my current boyfriend, Joe. We're staying in a hotel for the weekend, the least we could do was make a weekend out of it; after all, I haven't been to London before so it should be exciting and I'm looking forward to a romantic weekend with my boy.
"Here we are darlin'" Joe said as we pulled up in a car park packed full of people.
"Woo" I exclaimed with a huge sense of sarcasm in my voice.
"Don't be like that babe, it'll be fun! We're in the box anyway so there's free champagne! There'll be lots of other women there too, plus Aiden and Emma will be there!"
"Yeah, I suppose"
"Wait there, I'll come and get you out the car, it's very busy"
We walk hand in hand to the box we're situated in for the game... Scanning around I see quite a few famous faces but eventually I find Emma. I met Emma through Joe, however we are extremely close now and she also hates football - typical girly girls!
"Ooooh (your name), look there's Aston and JB from JLS" Emma mumbled excitedly.
"Ah, I saw them earlier!"
"Didn't you speak to them?!"
"Nah"
"Stupid woman!"
"Emma, I'm here with Joe anyway!" I laughed.
"Still..." She said as we made our way over to the champagne bar for some free drinks.
I suppose I'd better tell you a little bit about me anyway. I'm called (your name) and I am 24 years old. I have just finished university and now have two months until I start my proper job in January as a solicitor in London. I have a wonderful boyfriend, called Joe, as you already know and things are going great between us. I'm just dreading this move, we haven't talked about it properly but I know it's going to be difficult leaving him; long distance relationships never work!
