GAY FARRTTTTTTTT\ part ONE

The seventh grade dance was fast approaching, and with no one who was probably interested in me, I was alone to fend for myself. 

I mean, I have a crush on someone, but, they would never be interested in me- if anything, he's probably not gay. he probably likes that dumb 8th grader, Julie... what's so special about her, anyway?  she's just some basic white girl with nothing great about her. 

the dance itself, was tonight, there wasn't enough time to ask anyone, as if I would even do that in the first place. It's like valentines day, but I'm single. which is all the time.

I don't get it. 8th graders aren't even that great. I mean, sunsets are beautiful, mountains are beautiful, and my hair is beautiful... but do you notice how 8th graders aren't on that list?

I notice the bell ring and I get up from my desk sighing sadly. I hate that stupid Julie! her hair isn't as pretty as mine. 

me and romayo have the next class together, so I walk through the halls trying to catch up to him. once I spot him, I wave my arm and run up to him. 

"Heyyyyyy!" I yell, greeting my friend. He waves back and says, "Hi, Mercedes."

We turn the corner, and just as we do I spot a group of 8th grade girls. and amongst them is Julie... that's great. I turn to look at romayo and he just looks mesmerized by her presence, and I roll my eyes, snapping my fingers in his face.

It's the time of the dance and I'm sitting with Romayo and his cousin, Benny, while some stupid music is playing. can the teachers music taste get any worse? 

one second, Im listening to the trashy music, and I turn to tell romayo about it... and guess what. He's nowhere in sight. 

"What..." I say, searching the area. Suddenly, I spot him over there with... Julie? oh, great... 

I can just tell what they're talking about!

"Oh, Romayo.............. I love you!!!!!"

"My Julie, I love you EVEN MORE!!!!!"

I sigh and sit down. This is boring now!!!
