Panic Attack

When Heeseung has a panic attack.

You were currently at dance practice, rehearsing for PROMISE's comeback. During a short water break, Jen and Minji asked about you and Heeseung, hoping everything was good. You nodded, smiling as you thought about the good road you and Heeseung were currently on.

Just then, your phone rang. It was Jungwon, which was unusual because he never called you at times like this, except to wake Heeseung up. You picked up the phone and heard Jungwon's panicked voice.

"Heeseung is having a panic attack. He's been repeating your name and his breathing is uneven. You need to come and calm him down."

You cut Jungwon off, trying to stay calm. "Jungwon, you need to calm down first. I'll be there as soon as I can."

Jen and Minji, who were watching your panicked expression, immediately asked, "What's wrong?"

"Heeseung is having a panic attack. I need to go check on him," you explained quickly.Jen reassured you, "Calm down. Go, we'll inform the manager."

You thanked her and ran out, jumping into your car and driving as fast as you could to the HYBE building. When you arrived, the staff recognized you and let you in without hesitation.

You rushed into the practice room, out of breath, leaning over with your hands on your knees for support. The ENHYPEN members were crowded around, some kneeling down. Then you saw him—your boyfriend, hugging his knees and breathing unevenly.

The members' panicked faces softened when they saw you. You walked over to Heeseung and bent down in front of him. The room quieted as you spoke.

"Heeseung," you said gently.

He looked up and immediately hugged you tightly, causing you to lose your balance a little. You placed your hands on his head, patting it gently. "Hey, it's okay. Why are you panicking?"

Through his sobs, he confessed, "I read a tweet that said I was the worst performer in the group and that my voice was terrible. I'm not good enough to be in ENHYPEN."

Your heart sank. Heeseung is one of the most talented, handsome, and angelic-voiced idols. These hate comments have gone too far. You held his face and looked into his eyes.

"Listen to me, Heeseung. You are amazing. You are one of the best performers in the K-pop industry. And a little cocky too," you said with a soft smile.

He chuckled weakly and pulled away slightly, holding your hands. Your reassurance brought a small smile to his face. "Thank you for coming when I needed you."

You nodded and re-arranged his messed-up hair. "Of course. Anytime."

He kissed you, and you pinched his cheeks slightly, making him laugh and kiss them. Just then, the door opened, and the other ENHYPEN members came in. They sat down beside you.

Jungwon thanked you, "Thank you for what you did. I'm sorry for interrupting your practice."Ni-Ki added, "Thank you. I was really scared for Heeseung hyung."
